Both Rune and Pearl production pretty quickly becomes unimportant, at least for starting out. Runes have an early prestige upgrade to keep progress through resets, so you'll max out and forget about them quickly. And pearls scale progress very quickly, as the next tier pearl gives 2x progress to the pearl below it. You end up needing less and less time to double pearl production (going from ~every 3 minutes to ~every 37 seconds), and there's not many useful upgrades in pearls until maybe a later game faction unlock.

For Guardia on Hard, turn 1 put Rosaline right of your town with two villagers above her. Do not cut of the bit of red to her right. Turn 2, Red will put almost everyone in the south and you can use 1 Villager + Rosaline to cut off the left side + 1 villager to cut off the right side, bankrupting most of red. Follow up with buying a villager to keep your newly gained land + Rosaline connected before ending your turn, and you'll enter turn 3 with decent economy and a bankrupt Red. Should be easy sailing from there.

It's a poorly made gacha. Story is an excuse, graphics are gratuitous jiggle physics for menus and early 2000's for actual gameplay, and sound only exists in mission (consisting of stock background music). More than half the descriptions, items, and text boxes contain no information (as an example, the gacha textbox is "Gacha Description."). Overall a complete waste of time. The only 'positive' is low quality gratuitous jiggle physics, but if you want that with joke gameplay you can play Blue Archive or Azur Lane rather than this rip off.

I'm not sure if you've actually looked at how any of the game systems work if you think you have to pay. The only thing paying gets you is equipment (which you can get from playing the game), battle pass/daily login rewards (which you still get for playing the game), and 2x of some drops (of which only the 2x kill exp has any significant value). It's an incremental tower defense game, where you play a bit every day or two and make progress. You don't have to pay, will still advance without paying, and personally lose out on game content by paying (since you don't have an incentive to keep playing if you just buy the best equipment).

I think the Challenge unlocked at Tier 6 Phase 11 has a first time completion bonus of +1 helper equip slot, but. It's insulting to get Helper Helper when the only way to get more slots is paying money, collecting daily bonuses for over 2 months (on average. given how much of the bonus is in the rare high color cubes, that could be 3-5 months of logging in), or playing for months to get so far into the game there's no content left. Functionally, the player is forced to spend money to access the central mechanic of something they were forced to buy.

Adding on to ishtaranmajin's point, I'm currently at 70 shatters. At this point my zombies cost 15x more than a base zombie, and in return are ~790x stronger. Rune Shatter scales very well, to the point Blood is a useful resource to get again (before the update everything but Parts was useless, as bones/brains reach a cap quickly and Blood didn't help zombies enough to compete with creatures).

@FarFromGruntled There is a benefit: every time the skeleton does that it permanently gains 2x experience from all sources. Additionally, all VIPS that did not escape are respawned as soon as you buy it so you can take your already buffed up creatures + army and steamroll all your trophies back within ~10 minutes. It's mildly annoying needing to get the trophies back, but since it also takes 2x trophies each time there isn't much need to worry (since until level 1,600 he won't ask again, and then 3,200 after that).

Minor complaint, can creature level upgrades be applied to currently made creatures? It feels pretty bad that I need to get all 16 of my creatures to die so I can build new ones with the bought health and damage values.

What's the point of Dishwashing? It's a set 300 money, so a few minutes into the game it's already completely obsolete. 10 minutes in and it's less than 3% of what I earn per second, so there's no reason to ever use it. Either remove it entirely or make it an active way to more quickly get money to cook.

A few of the "puzzles" are not remotely fun or interesting. 14's pong is a boring, unable to fail slog which removes any form of pacing or interest. 18's light squares are just annoying RNG and (again) a long slog; even worse is there seems to be no biasing towards remaining squares, so you get such joys as pressing a button 70+ times in a row waiting for it to land on the last square so you can continue. While some of the puzzles are fun (although repetitive), these puzzles especially ruin any enjoyment from the game.

@rickfury You aren't missing anything from what I've seen so far. The only difference between the three branches is the bonus they offer (more gold, faster gold, or cheaper buildings). MAYBE this changes when you encounter plagues, but I sincerely doubt it.

Love the new update and the cutscenes (and dialogue). Amazing update. I hate the Student's power and boxes so much right now (But that's a good thing!)

Developer response from player_03

Fortunately, you won't have to deal with either of those again for a couple more updates at least. They aren't set in stone, but none of my plans involve moving boxes. I'm thinking next update will be medium difficulty, and the one after that will involve conventional hard levels (not box-pushing).

Fira10, I'd say Angels or Goblins for endgame. Angels, because their production can increase massively from spellcasts, in addition to the power of their spells and ability to cast them together (using God's Hand + Call to Arms and some Tax Collections can raise your money massively, and it can be used quite often). Goblins, because their Strong Currency allows a massive money increase and their greed power gives a nice boost (though, it looks like Angel's outscale Goblins due to the amount of multipliers they have in spells heavily beating out more buildings that have a lower gold amount).

@Xenomina Those don't help. Each gem gives a 2% production boost to all buildings, meaning even when you somehow get to buying the farm upgrades ISN'T a cost inefficient idea every other higher tier building will provide massive coin increases for the same cost instead of minuscule. A farm producing 1 coin a second gains 10 coins with 1000 gems while a Hall of legends producing 250000 coins gains 2500000 coins with 1000 gems. Thus, the upgrade is still 1 trillion (or quadrillion or whatever you made it to) for double farm gain while the higher tier buildings give many magnitudes higher gold for the same or less cost.

The cost for most building upgrades needs to be toned down; for example, the 75 farm upgrade costs 1 billion gold, but with 64 gems my farms produce a total of 1459 gold a second. That means for my farms to pay off this upgrade it would take 190+ hours. For a second comparison, the upgrade costs 1 billion while at this time a necropolis costs ~10 million. The necropolis gives a bonus 19380 coins while the upgrade for farms gives 1459. Basically, can the upgrade costs be significantly toned down, or made to actually be worth the cost? As is, upgrading any of the lower tier buildings seems extremely inefficient (or even useless; who wants to spend 1 trillion gold on a farm upgrade when you could buy another high end building and get MUCH more money off it?)

@inventor10 You only get permission to refer to power cells as batteries (as far as I know there isn't any use for that upgrade). Personally, I disliked the Kongpanions because they looked extremely out of place and detracted from the game for me.

Suggestion for infinite mode: Have the level transitions be a bit longer, and flatten out for a a bit before starting the level. Dying as the skater because he's doing a bunch of mini hops instead of running/skating isn't fun.

Developer response from player_03

I don't want to make the level transitions longer, because that will make Infinite mode easier on average. This will mess up the high scores, which I'd rather not do if I can avoid it. --- At some point, I hope to fix the "getting bumped into the air" bug, but for the moment, just try to avoid the seams when skating downhill.

Figured after rating I'd comment so. First, there's a pretty exploitable bug where there's an invisible floating platform in the center, on the same level as where the enemies spawn. This allows a player to sit there and never die. Second, this is boring, annoying, and unfun. You leftclick, everything dies. That's it. While I could consider this a parody of LoL's farming, it doesn't even do that with the strange powerups, meh graphics, and complete and utter boredom from playing it.

Having played ~3/4th through the main thing (not on par, but the main levels shown), I have to say this doesn't really feel fun. The other Red Remover was fun in a physics solving way, where the shapes moved in predictable patterns and your challenge (except for some very rude time ones) was to find the best order to do it in. This just seems like a really cheap explosion simulator, with most of the levels being won by pressing the left mouse button really fast to keep objects from actually falling, instead of a physics game. Sure, there's physics IN the game, but it seems a lot more like this was made entirely to show explosions, not to be a puzzle solving game.
