So...Animation Throwdown, without the cartoon characters....and with only autoplay. Neat. So glad Kong only has these kinds of games now, I totally don't miss having original user created content with new weekly badges at all
My biggest complaint that basically ruins this game for me is how HORRIBLY the corners are programmed. If something has the slightest raise in elevation your ball bounces off of it as if it hit a brick wall, a horrible example is the TINY raise in elevation that is the parking spaces in hole 2 of the first course. If your ball rolls into them it should not ricochet off as if it hit a forcefield. Same with the "corners" of the sand traps
Okay, is it just me or does the game sometimes just straight up LIE? Like i had one that a pizza and a biscuit were in the same square. clicked the pizza and it was right, clicked the biscuit and it said i was wrong. Wth?
This sounds awful but has anyone else just LET their city die after a riot/strike? Like "Wah! We dont have any bars or churches, we're unhappy, now we arent going to do any work to protect against the zombies/give ourselves food" ....Okay then. Die, i guess?
This game is just annoying, not worth playing for a lot of people. I don't say that because it's bad, i say it because it's made in an outdated way (firing with mouse and moving with wsda) that a lot of people literally can't work with. My touchpad refuses to click while moving in order to do the "loops" required in level 4 onwards
The only thing i hate about this game is that you can headshot the enemy immediately and they go down to 3/4 health while you can get shot twice and die before you can blink
my only complaint comes really fast in mission 7. How the heck is Hive Mind not a "modifier" it MODIFIES the attack of enemy robots, thats literally all it does. I get it's an "aura" card but that doesnt make it not a modifier and i lost my first round against that mission because of wasting time using it
Main complaint about game: If basically ANY of your troops die, you're screwed. There is no "recovering" one mistake and you might as well restart. Oops, i mean "Better pay for premium upgrades" hur hur
To be honest, if this game wasnt garbage enough with the half dozen menus you have to navagate through every game and the amount it forces you to desperately grind for upgrades, it has a premium version? No one wants to pay you for your crap flash game. Far better 100% free games on this site. Im really dissapointed in Kong's garbage 2017
Just an update from about 2 hours into the future from my last post, i advise EVERYONE who hasnt given this game a chance to give. it. a. chance. The beginning is boring and I feel like it should have been less dialogue filled but the further you get the more you want to play. There were at least two moments so far (I JUST finished chapter 10) where my heart skipped at the cliffhanger and i just stopped and stared at the screen for a few moments. I agree even more that this shouldnt have been badged to attract anyone to give it less than an amazing rating but seriously this is great.
While it does seem to have a decent story and whatnot, I do have to agree with the people asking how an interactive novel got two badges let alone a game of the year spot? I feel like it hurts the game more than it helps by attracting badge hunters to a niche game. Especially since theres a badge for sitting through 17 episodes of this??? "Hard" shouldnt mean "drawn out and tedious" I am NOT insulting the story at all, just the fact it got badged.
This is a really entertaining game, even coming from someone who has a disliking towards idle games. You guys managed to make an idle game that actually has gameplay and strategy and not just mindless clicking and then leaving it for a week. My only issue with it is that the longer I've played (days wise not straight) the longer it seems to take to load and lately Shockwave has had a habit of crashing while attempting to load it. other than that, great job.
Thank you for the kind words! Unfortunately, as a Flash game, the memory leaks are an on-going battle, so the game does require refreshing after awhile. Adobe v21 has some issues with saving anything to the Flash cache, so that has been causing problems for players to load the game. You can try deleting the Flash cache data and then only using the browser cache to store the game graphics.
I agree with all the praise of this game but i do wish the players team's AI was a bit better. They will CONSTANTLY just run in front of the player with the ball instead of actually turning around and tackling them. This becomes expecially annoying in Tier 1 games
Sorry but this game is kinda sad...As much as it annoys me that ever since the cookie clicker atrocity became popular these idol games have become popular, at least most of them require no effort while at least having diversity in their words or actions. This is literally just a cat face and numbers.
