religion + religion doesn't make war??

I'm curious... is anyone else finding the gring from 400-500 newspapers and/or car washes excruciating?? I've restarted 2-3 times (doubling my investors or better each time) in the last week and still have not managed to break 500 on all my investments. I'm just coming by my octillions SO slowly!

I'm thrilled to see this game on Kongregate finally! I played on Ninji Kiwi in beta and loved it, but I'm loving that I get to start over here. A few tips for someone just starting out if you want to get your city off to a good start the first time: 1. If you're playing to earn a space, restart if you lose a life. You NEED those extra bloonstones... and don't even think about spending them to finish building or upgrading something faster. 2. When you unlock hardcore mode, use it!(and don't forget rule #1) 3. Be flexible in your defense options. If you rely to much on one kind of tower and specialize quickly, you'll find yourself stuck on levels where that tower type is restricted. 4. Don't waste land space buying a windmill! Use watermills. There is no other tower that can be placed on a river. 5. Use your boxes very wisely. You will lose them if you restart or exit the level.
