I have the same question as "Doctorchaos" .... Overkill is using more of something than is necessary to accomplish a given task .... in one game I had a Total Damage of 513,550 which was definite overkill ... It sure was fun watching it though .... Is this the overkill that is required or do they have something else in mind? .... The word Overkill is used on one map in the game but on a previous map you had to do a total of 250,000 damage for the Challenge Badge .... that was definite Overkill on that map by quite a bit .... Challenges for Badges need the requirements a little more defined .... Excellent game rating it 5 of 5 !!

@ StrongHeart ..... I have been playing with game area resolution of 1327x897 which is the max my 22" widescreen LCD monitor will allow. Not fullscreen but worth a try. I take and set my Zoom to 140% and then hide the Menu and Status Bars and it fits very nicely so I can see
everything I need. Now I just need to work on getting my speeds up on all difficulties. A definite 5 Star game that is challenging, replayable and outright fun. ..... +++ this to keep this near the top so everyone can try the larger size.
Shoot an arrow straight up at 90 degrees and power of at least 60+ and the arrow will end up in your head. Now how many shots does it take you to hit the arrow(s) in your head three times in a row? Makes a clink sound when successful and arrow glances off so you don't hurt your archer. WARNING: do not try this outside at home(with a real bow) .... took me 20 shots to get my three clinks in a row and I ended up with strange decoration on top of my head. Took 3 aspirin and went to bed.

A ''Save Game'' feature would be nice in case we have to get off our computers because the kids have homework ( + Facebook and Tweeting they just have to do ). ;=)
My tank got hung up along the walls running north/south several times. It also got hung up on the horizontal axis between two of the big turrets which left it a sitting duck. I managed to take out the turrets but it cost me a lot of ammo because an enemy tank showed up.
You have a good game here and I am looking forward to your new version once you get the bugs worked out. I play solo so please keep the tank that is currently in the game. I think that adding the ability to modify the game keys would handy as everyone has there preferences. .... Kelteel
Fun little game. Good original idea and done well. I would call it slightly addictive thinking of course "Just one more game for the jackpot". Kinda like a night in Vegas. Rated it 4/5 and if I played another game today I would have to rate it 5/5. Highly enjoyable and a little frustrating at 2505 foot depth.

Save Game and Floor Levels numbered ! Players would not want to lose their position when they have a good game going.
.........I just lost my best game on Level 14 because of a cable connection disconnect. With a Save feature I could always restart from my last Save which is not so bad. Thanks. Kelteel (original comment on Aug. 30, 2011)
Void ====>> Excellent little game. It is fun and gets challenging the more levels one completes. I rated it 5 of 5 and will be back to play again. I think it needs three improvements. 1) Pause key (I hate to die when someone comes to the door) 2) the ability to Save Game because someone always wants to get on the computer when I am playing and I dislike having to start over especially when I am on the lower levels, and finally 3) a Hot Key (Tab works nice) to open and close the inventory.
It is still a fun and excellent little game. Dungeon Crawlers are always fun. Thanks for one of the better games on the site.
Could be a good game but lacking basic instructions. Not sure but I think the letter M is for Menu. Too bad it doesn't work and if it doesn't stand for Menu then where is the Menu to Restart the game. 2 of 5 Stars for now but it could go up to a 4 at least. Fun and Unique game.
WAVE 50 Hardcore III can be beaten with 6 Towers and none doing damage of over 6500 by the end of the wave. You start Wave 50 setup with 0 Fire Towers, 1 Frost Tower and 1 Shock Tower (both maxed). Add 4 brand new(0 experience) Fire Towers and max each to cover the whole track. Max 3 towers to a reload speed of 8 with the fourth as high as you can(depending on money) and put it slightly down the track from the other three. This takes a little time once you start and I wish I had timed it. Not one of the enemy made it off the playing area. I wonder if this would work with poison(??).
@ darkraider60 <== Harvestsun's method works quite well but on Level 3 start firing on only the Boss (3000 bonus). Levels 3 thru 9 and 10 if you are careful you do the same thing and fire only at the Boss even if it is only one cannonball and you will get the Max Bonus. I get up right alongside for boarding and since you are shooting at the biggest ship on each level your cannon shot is extremely hard to miss. .... I do not recommend these boarding tactics for levels 11 & 12. Count the total number of Pirates, cannons and hit points of each ship on levels 11 & 12. Your 120 Pirates are vastly outnumbered. .... My advice is to fight it out at a distance and trick the enemy into shooting it's own ships. This especially fun when you have two enemy ships approaching each other from opposite directions. Time your shot to arrive at the moment they are passing each other. This is a can't miss broadside. Use the agility of your ship to avoid getting hit and learn to turn on a dime. ...
This was okay but not as good as "Crush the Castle 2". This was a 2/5 and "Crush the Castle 2" is a 4/5. Major improvements on controlling your ballista in 2. You can undershoot or overshoot by a mile. Then you can drop your bomb right on their head. Bombs are better but be patient as the may take a little time to work. ""Crush the Castle 2" highly recommended and an excellent followup by the author.
POISON, POISON ====>> Does it even work ?? Playing Hardcore 3 I had it setup for Wave 42 and never saw any poison damage register on any member of the group. The amount of poison damage is not high but it is an accumulating type damage like fire. There is no resistance to poison for Wave 42 and yet nothing ever showed. A bug ?? Do you need more than one poison tower to do damage no matter how fast the tower is rotating? I had upped the rate of fire/distance on all other towers and added a second boosted Sniper tower. ….
I dislike having all 10 Fire Immune targets just waltz on by at a speed of 0.04 and take minimal damage from heavy shock, frost and sniper fire. I ended up getting the last one of the 10 just as it exited the field. The other 9 had about half of their life left as they exited. Aargh ;( !!! ….
I have only had problems with Wave 42 in Hardcore 3. Something good did come out of that frustration; I set a new personal high score of 637,346 for Hardcore 3.
