Eh, nvm, ignore the 1st part of my previous message. While going to the settings to hide all the projectiles, missile traces, explosions, etc. doesnt seem to work for main weapon, i realized i can just click the checkbox to hide it...
So, i just figured out HT = Heavy turret. Anyway, is there a way to disable the bullets from heavy turret? Considering its an idle game, i would like optimizations for idling so i can still have my resources for other things. I dont really know how it works but ive seen other idle games where the game screen freezes or it just hide all the visuals with a blue screen after xx seconds of being idle. It would be nice something similar here
Now, when you press tab you will go from the buttons to the mini-map structures (town, cave, woods, etc) but space bar doesnt do anything which is a good thing, the only problem now is that if you press tab until a structure is selected the name will show up, if you have that structure selected with the tab method and you hover your mouse over another place on the minimap the name of the structure selected via tab and the one via mouse will overlap each other. Anyway, is not a big deal since it doesnt really breaks anything in game, but since its your 1st game is worth to mention for future games to avoid similar issues.
Step 1: Go to the mine/woods/sea. Step 2: Press tab to cycle between buttons until the mining button is highlighted. Step 3: Hold space bar. Step 4: Profit. Anyway, just letting the dev know about this bug. Its very common in flash games since TAB lets you cycle between clickable objects and space bar works the same as clicking
Oh wow. I didn't even know about this. Thank you for letting me know so quickly! Will update within a few minutes hopefully. EDIT: Updated and fixed, let me know if you encounter other bugs. Thank you again!
The insanity quote wasnt by Einstein probably. People say he used it in a letter but somehow no one have managed to find the page where its supposed to be, so it could be that someone found out a page was missing and he just attributed random things to Einstein claiming he said it in that page. Anyway, I understand that is not exactly a "game" but could be a bit more puzzling at least. To be honest, it didnt made me think about anything special but that is probably because im a very simple person.
Thank you for your input. You're right it's not really a "game", but like I said, I just made it for an English Project. As far as the whole "Puzzle" aspect goes, I just listed it as that because there weren't many other options for me to choose from, and I figured it best fit under "Puzzle". I mean really this is more or less just an interactive story, but I really just needed to upload it somewhere so I could actually show my teacher because the files I had don't work on their own unless they're uploaded somewhere. Also I sort of designed this game with the idea of having someone (Me) there to actually explain what's going on and why certain things are the way they are. Long story short, this "game" wasn't exactly made for the public, but I had to put it here, or take a 0 on this project.
I kinda feel bad for the devs when they work their brains out to make systems like assistant>siege>wall>assistant. Balance out their stats, get them pretty skills, etc. Then you get a party full of dragonborns AoEing the hell out of enemies. At some point i just started to ignore the system since just spamming my attacks in the same enemy would kill everything in 1 turn (or 2 turns for dark army), i have no idea what were the enemy types and i dont remember my knight types, all i know is they wipe out everything. For the last boss, it was kinda long but i cant say it was hard. My army wiped the back row in 2 turns, then the boss killed all my knights except for my 1st one (the one with shield as special). I got perma shield from his special + magic and to avoid dmg from poison i just didnt attacked with it, instead, i killed the boss spamming attack magic while keep using shield magic on my knight. In the end i still got 20 turns of blocking and 80 poison dmg that never could hurt me.
I went to pee and when came back realized that the dialog just keep moving on its own and i missed the whole story after the 1st battle. In a serious question, why does the dev consider functional that the dialog keeps moving on its own instead of letting the player click/press key? Auto text scrolling as an option that you can enable or disable its okay, but forced enable is just not functional in my opinion. Also, same problem with new knights. I cant see the information before i get bashed with the talent screen. I dont say it in an offensive way, im really curious why you think its a good idea to make those things automatic instead of letting the user click?
I was a bit dissapointed when i played after reading the comments. The game is actually good but people calling it a "challenge" and making them "think critically" got my hopes too high probably. Like any other jigsaw, you can always start by putting together the obvious matches, the only difference here is the timing. You need to take a mental screenshot of a frame and then put together all the pieces that you remember the correct animation, then just check the timing to order them properly in the big picture. Still, better than most puzzles. 4/5
It doesnt say anywhere its an alpha/beta/concept so i will rate it as a full game. Exp is useless for idlers. Pets dmg formula shold add a % of owner dmg deppending on pet lvl, else, the idlers will hit their limit way too soon. Eagle dmg is way too low considering it have same speed and crit rate as the horse (who believes its a gryphon for some reason). Same with wolf, takes the double of time than horse to attack and does barely higher dmg per hit but the horse beat him in dps by almost 1.5x. The tiger dmg is pretty nice but expensive. Considering the tiger as the final content of the game is understandable that is expensive to upgrade but its also sad that im almost done with all the content in less than 1 hour. Im not lvling characters or upgrading their attacks since is useless for idle, im spending all my money on pets. Probably after upgrading them i will go with characters just for fun even if they are useless
@andymakespasta: The % adds... kinda. I dont know exactly by how much but according to dev, 2 skills with 20% chance get a total of 36%. Dont know what is the limit if you fill all the slots with the same skill
@drans: Is your calculation done with raiders that can kill monsters with 1 hit in both places? At that point what matters the most is the size of the map. Smaller maps means less time wasted walking and more time used killing.
Im so happy that i can play this again. Couple of days ago i forgot to export my file before cheating a little bit to test some things on the game (only problem i found at 1000+ lvl was healing time in base, but its fixed now with healers upgrade) and realized there was no way to start over but now there is a pretty reset button. Anyway, suggestion. Since there is no way to calculate real money/exp per second/minute/hour due to the nature of the game, maybe an upgrade/building to get money/exp wihle offline could work later on. Since many people already beat the current content it would be useless to them so, its more like a suggestion for the future when the game gets bigger.
henthemage: Click an item, it should say "item count on this stack: xx". Items didnt dissapeared, they just stack now to have a cleaner inventory. Unless yours is actually bugged but please, check if you can see the stacks
@ExSane: A guy in brown robes walks into your base, stands next to a treasure chest with a ! on him. You click him and he will sell you items/skills. After a while he leaves your base. If he have come to your base and you didnt bought anything from him, he will keep those items for his next visit and might sell something new aswell. Even if you are farming/raiding you should keep an eye on your base for that guy.
That is very true. Thank you a lot for your help! I'll make sure fix it completely in the future!
