@krazykatboy: Im guessing its hard/impossible to program a real resource/minute per sector because it you have something like scattergun and it aims to the top or the bottom units, many of the pellets will miss by going outside the window, then, if it aims to a unit in the middle, you will do more dmg because the scattered pellets will hit the top/bottom units, so the dmg will vary and as a result the resources will vary. What you can do is open your info tab and collect resources on the background, as soon as you see the resource/minute is updated, stop collecting them and wait 1 minute. That way you can see how many resources you get without collecting and then you can start collecting again
I can say it's hard to came up with an algorithm for this, because rpm depends on enemy formation/weapon setup/weapon upgrades + randomness/manual targeting and use of abilities ;)
@Gratonorif: You are right, it seems weapons are mostly useless and can beat everything with base items. While i still dont see why mobsters should lvl with the player it seems it wont break the game. In another topic, it seems restore is way too strong at higher lvls. It currently heals me 40% of my max hp, so if i use an ehter (70 gil) it heals me aroudn 250 mp, that means i got 250x40% hp for 70 gil while a potion would be 60 gil for 30% hp. Regarding my previous message about parties, i had PHS greyed out, now it seems to be working and i can choose my own party.
@Knut3333: That is probably because you have 0 HP. The monster 1 hit you before you can do anything so use a potion or heal spell. @milkbone: you can use a potion or heal spell to recover HP, however, if you are at 0MP and no gold to buy potions then its game over as the game gets stuck and there is nothing you can do. @Krazden: Potions heal a % of your HP (33%) and eventually you will be making enough gold to buy 30-50 potions so you dont need to be going back to shop everytime, however, it needs regen over time to avoid bugs to happen and, yes, clicking only gets tired. I kept going for a bit to see if there would be any auto-attack function unlocked but it seems not.
4) There is no point in having monsters lvl with the player. If a player lvls too much he might face monsters that are inposible to beat because weapons are not unlocked unless you advance zone, so staying in a low lvl zone with lame weapons and lvling breaks the game. Just make it so every zone have itss own lvls (1-5 monster for zone 1, 6-10 for zone 2, etc.)
Suggestions: 1. Make HP regen over time (slowly if you wish). If you have 0 hp and run out of money to buy pots, you are stuck since your HP never regen. 2) Unlock characters after zones is fine but let me choose my party. I understand you try to follow the original FF7 story but its annoying when i buy weapons for someone and then at the next stage he is gone. 3) Turn the game into idle/clicker instead of only clicker. A clicker only game will never get far. Make it so when you click fight random and then click attack, your characters will attack on their own (lets say, they do their power 1 time per sec) and when monster is dead, a new one comes and they keep attacking. But let the players spam attack command if they want to attack faster.
@Rethosphix: When you start, you are given free 20 moonstones that are meant to be to buy a bag from shop. 2 bags have been enough for me so far. Also, you can farm epic items at hard mode to sell them for moonstones too, so far, using it i have bought bags for 2 chars (3 with the free 20 stones) in 3 days.
Im level 15 and have been playing for some hours. So far, my only complain is that the hotkeys (quick slots) are not enough for Wizards (dont know about other classes). If i set all the skills then there wont be room for potions and the inventory screen is so big that it would probably kill me if i try to open it to use a potion during a fight.
3/5. I like the idea but its way too easy. The leaderboard probably means how long people last before getting bored. Not because its too boring but because its way too easy. Half the time i was spamming in the same rows and took me a while to lose.
I dont think auto-respawn is needed, you guys just need to learn to handle levels. Lets say, while you are active clicking your pets to heal them you can beat certain level. For example, level 100. Then, u gonna go idle for whatsoever reason. YOU DONT IDLE THE SAME LEVEL, you go back to where your pets can 1 hit the 1-2 stars enemies then idle. That way, your pets will last way longer than if you just idle in lvl 100
No offense, but releasing a game this early is plain dumb. I understand you want feedback but you need to show some actual game mechanics. What you want us to give you feedback with this? other than fonts and colors t here is nothing we can help you with.
to everyone saying this badge is too grindy: You guys suck. Took me 4 tries to get denizee stats high enough to do 3 power smash. On my 5th round i got the 3 in same round. By my 7th round i even did 4 power smashes. I always did killer shots so i got them too in my 10th round. Total time invested for this badge: 16 minutes. GG noobs
Poor game. No optimization. BOTD and Featured cuz its kong... i wish they actually tested their games for optimization instead of releasing them like this.
@destinedone: That or.. i got 865 altars already and just need 40 more. Since buying 50 says cost 26 quad then its safe to guess that for the 35 i need its less than 25 quad. Anyway, point is. Its not impossible at all to get all the achievments, its pretty easy for me with 1.8b DKs so i find it weird that sexylexy who is rank 2 (or was, too lazy to check) says its impossible to get the achievments... Only 2 options is he cheated his ranking or reset in less than 24h everytime, but i wanna believe he got common sense and would be able to use his brain to know that if he waits for 2-3 days he can get all the achievments in which case would mean its not impossible to get.
@Moranidal: You are a... person who doesnt have common sense. If you enable "sell cheapest thing 1st" then you will sell cheap stuff 1st. Now, where is your "sell expensive items 1st" button? Simply dissable "sell cheapest item 1st"... that is common sense, why the hell you want another button that does exactly what the current one does when is disabled?
I can say it's hard to came up with an algorithm for this, because rpm depends on enemy formation/weapon setup/weapon upgrades + randomness/manual targeting and use of abilities ;)
