Loved the first one and i really like this sequel, graphics improved a lot, the summoning system got more komplex and i think thats an improvement. the cards and overall atmosphere are still fun as hell, 'specially for lovecraft fans.
But the Cons: the insanity feature is basically _gone_, instead sanity has become a tedious ressource management. in the first game i could _choose_ to go all out with my cards and risk insanity, which made the game fast paced and insane fun. Here its a limitation, which is really sad. The Star alignment would be an awesome alternative! but its too rare, you have to focus on black star cards even if its not a smart move. If there is another sequel, put the suicide limitation to ca -30 sanity and let us enjoy our sweet insanity again. Other than that, thanks for a great game!
The easiest path to take is to just block off everything, positive and negative ones.
But then, eventually your shield breaks under the pressure, no matter how thick you thought it was.
The only way to win is focus on experiencing as many positive ones as possible, even if that makes you more vulnerable.

Design and Presentation was allright, it was fun for a moment but got pretty boring fast,
not only because it was easy, but because there was no variation whatsoever: every enemy attacks head on, very simple patterns for everything, environment played no role.
AND: Stop calling every game an RPG just because it has upgrades, upgrades have nothing to
do with _roleplaying_ and no - it doesnt make your game cooler if you call it an rpg.
The levels were all so incredibly easy, after lvl 15 my patience was completely drained.
nice graphics and overall nice work, but incredibly boring.
If you were gonna make so many easy levels
make an option to skip some of them or at least the tut levels :/ still 3/5
The coffee doom cannon is a huuge dissapointment, give it a serious cooldown, and the
let it do some significant damage, that would be a lot better.
Besides that, and maybe the lack of autofire, i have no serious complaints,

It took a while to get used to the controls, untill i watched the movements of my little pixel extremely close, there didnt seem any explanation why i would slow down all the time.
After getting used to that, and the slow advancement (hint: there are anchor stones, that instantly advance you) it was kinda fun.
And then it was game over, because you die when you jump out of the water
Srsly? If you put bonuses outside of the water AND jumping kills you, at least have the decency of explaining it!
the limited lives really took the fun out of an otherwise not so bad game.
the mouse gestures are a nice idea if this was a more strategy based game.
But to win a match you just have to spam your units, and the last thing you want to do in a game,
is spam shapes onto the screen till your arm gets tired, even if you had a drawing pad.
This also destroys every tactical aspect you tried to create with the different enemy types.
takes me way back to lufia2, where this whole concept was just a side quest.
But to the game: it was fun entertaining, i liked the graphics, and the grinding,
i saw the end boss a mile away tho, some minor flaws, still neat
Its like a dating sim..
only without any real point or goal.
To me, there are too many different game mechanics in this, but none of them are above average compared to other games.
This thing has absolutely nothing, _nothing_ to do with a role playing game. Why do people insist on calling everything a RPG just because it has upgrades. Every damn FPS is more of a role playing game than this.

just because one minimal tactic aspect of the combat is limited you hate the whole game?
The game is great, nice graphics, nice history lesson, good execution on all fronts, i wouldnt even need to mini games to lighten it up.
The story mode is short, but hey, if i want more i hit the multiplayer 5/5
Still needs some fixing (maybe european keyboard is the problem?) but nice choice of music, graphics are fine with me.

Why not use the text you got under story? or use some interesting quotes.

but i actually thank you for uploading a demo of your game, its great, the demo gives a good impression of the whole thing, without beeing too little to entertain.

Nicely done, the upgrades were chosen wisely and added some strategy element so its not pure chance. Nice graphics and everything, can't point out a single flaw
