Catpaw: They both have chance to win a card according to your 1st doc, if you have low cards, entering match you have lets say 10% chance to win, when the other one has many cards, has 3%. They both are true.
I just kept playing and playing and i got to Captain. The Hasty Defense start gives 9/10 of times me 2-3 french resistance soldiers to start with.... :P
Damn... my strongest point didn´t hold a bat... It really is annoying when they cut just 1 piece of web and most collapse... You better keep at least 3 that go from top to bottom or from left to right and straight line, and then build rest on those.
Claymore, trade can´t be enabled anyhow due to everyone exploiting it somehow eventually, And with Card shop everyone would pick the best and i think we already got enough CC:s in game, don´t you?
The current system (2 per week from challenges and small possibility to win from games) favors those who have been playing in Kongregate for longer, and i don´t mind that at all, i got 40/46 cards and only 4 doubles.
If you mean skill RANK, it depends on what level enemies you win and to what level enemies you lose to.
The higher level players you win, more rank points you earn, the lower level players you lose to, the more rank points you lose. Don´t know how much it takes to go up a rank.
Pigeon, that doesn´t chance the fact i think its wrong. What might be fine is badge for beating Kong-bot, but not "100 victories" or "2:1 win/loss ratio"
