The best way to get up to at least the 3rd zone is to pick assassin as your class and every time you level up you choose a skill on the farthest to the left column until you unlock coup de grace by then you should be at least level 10 and a way to your skills higher is to click on an object in your inventory, click on options, and click any where on the game and the items stats should be added to yours making the game far easier for you
