To "kill" the monster that is holding Anabel, grab the blinking monster arm lying on the ground next to the monster's body, then you'll have to go behind him and then hit his tail with your weapon (The arm), then follow him, hit his tail, follow him, hit his tail, etc. until he's ate by a kind of rock monster.
