Wait, but, I feel like there were some steps missed in the reveal. If baldie was the accomplice, he would have had to have been in the office during the time that Dregg was in the basement, killed the slaver, snuck into the secret passage while Dregg was coming upstairs, hit the girl with the rock, dragged her back up the secret passage and posed and framed her, before sneaking back out the passage again. That seems a little crazy considering that the passage wasn't even in the office where the murder took place.
I was really hoping for a twist ending where it actually was the girl, since that would have been more possible RIP.
When it comes to trading games like this one, where the only mechanic is getting and giving items away, there are few criteria to judge the game itself on other than those interactions. The characters were fine, the pacing was fine, but a lot of the swaps were based on just randomly walking around trying to give people all of your random objects, instead of relying on any amount of game information that's given to you. Things like Cat - Harmonica or Pet Rock - Fortune teller were just totally inane. So while the quirky dialogue was fun, this game has a thumbs down from me. 2/5
So here's the thing. I'm a huge fan of your games Vasant, but this one I felt was just below par for you. Too many of the riddles just didn't have enough of a logical lead to them and ended up being guesses. If this was just a test game for you, I totally understand why you would do it, but as far as an independent game goes it feels more like a memey quiz game than it does one of your normal logic based masterpieces. All the same, can't wait for the next games from you! And merry christmas, I guess? ^^
This game has one of the best dictionaries that I've ever seen in a word based game, and I'm so happy that it accepts all my words that nobody knows ^_^
Cool enough game. I love the idea, and the urbex thing is pretty great as well. Yeah, taking pictures after you find out stinger's dead is kinda weird... But overall, great game ^_^. Still gotta watch your grammar though :P
I think that this game is really sad if you think about it :( She spends more then one entire lifetime just running. The things that she notices the most are the fights she takes place in, and while she does interact with other people, she doesn't stop running, just gets what she needs and goes. She's alone fighting off the evils of the world for so long, and people don't even help her out by giving her stuff if shes about to die..
The flail, but you already know that. How about something where the longer you spin, the less damage you do with it? You get dizzy or what not, slow down. As well, you might want to nerf using just damage. Put all your points into flail/mastery, get skills like luck, and hero flail, and at level 11 you can kill the "boss" in three shots, making the game WAY to easy.
See.. I might just be missing something here.. But what I picked up from the story is that it's about a guy who can't get the girl of his dreams, so he tries to destroy the life of said girl just to make her as bad as he is. Eventually the girl resists and succeeds at taking back her life, and so he decides to kill himself. What am I missing here?
Since you asked for help: I wanted to game to be about growing up. I think everyone at least once wanted to be the world as he would like. Hans does that, to feel equal and to get rid of his low self esteem. He does all this in his mind. But it's such a bad idea that it doesn't even work in his mind and the girl escapes. He has only one option, to confront himself, to see what's wrong about him, to adapt, to grow up. And he does that by battling himself. He then escapes his collapsing utopia, to continue living in the real world. The cheerleader doesn't even know him in the real world.
Dunno what you guys are talking about as to the enemies being too hard to kill. I'm building strength/luck with dagger mastery and I'm pretty much killing everything I come across in 1-3 hits. You can build tanky in this game, but don't expect to kill everything super fast. 5/5
O.o I don't know about everyone else, but I quite like this game. The music is catchy and fun, and the gameplay's different from most games I play. Yes people, the hard badge is hard... Isn't that what it's supposed to be though? I mean really.. Getting worked up cause a hard badge is too hard. I give this game a 4/5, and a hope that the developer creates more unique games :)
