The Alchemist

The game was decent. The characters, conflict, story, mechanics, etc. were acceptable. It was extremely easy though, with only some basic reading needed to beat every problem. On the other hand, the atmosphere was consistently relaxing and inviting. Even though this game was not particularly special, I would not at all be surprised if Raius went on to make something spectacular.

I really want to play this game. It seems so interesting and fun. My only problem is that my computer is too slow to run it, which is weird because its graphics are so simple. Other physics based puzzle games have a little lag when I play them; however, this one has so much that it becomes infuriating. Just restarting takes 10 second or so. If that does not sound like a lot; count 10 mississppi seconds. That is how long I have to wait inbetween making a mistake and trying again.

I gave 5 stars and favorited this game because it made me laugh is about 10 seconds.

Great:)

Be honest, how many of you tried making a Molotov Cocktail when you found the cloth and the bottle? P.S. I really like the comic.

I am trying to avoid spoilers so sorry if this sounds a little odd. Why did the protagonist play the matching game the second time? Your friend tells you specifically not to do that. Still this easily gets 5/5, even though I got frustrated at some parts and had to use the walkthrough.

I loved this game, just like all the other ones. I do have one problem with it though. YOUR GAMES HAVE TURNED ME INTO A MONSTER! The first thing, THE VERY FIRST THING, I did when I meet the baby crow was try to decapitate it with the razor. Because of you, my gut reaction to meeting a defenseless, baby animal who has not harmed me in any way (and could be considered my child in a weird way) is try to kill it in the most torturous way I could! Every time I play one of your games the compassion and empathy in my dies a little, leaving me a monster... When will the next one be out. P.S. What is with that deer? Deer appear no where else in the series and then there is just one right there; and then what happened to it happened (I am trying to avoid spoilers). Just, why?

This is one of the best games, flash or counsel, that I have ever played. I want to offer some constructive criticism, something that could be improved, but I cannot think of anything. I am not even sure if I want it to be longer because it might mess up the pacing. Thank you for making and sharing this game.

Why do you keep making scary games!? Why do I keep playing your scary games!? *sobs* Can you just make a nice game about kittens? Please? Regarding the Cinnamon Bun: Is anyone else freaked out by the fact a pastry is more out of place than the skeleton 5 rooms away. The Cinnamon Bun represents the sweetness that can be found in this insanity. It is how you can still be happy even though you are surrounded by insanity. Fidelity went to the attic, upwards. She could not accept the fact that she had to stay asleep. This is why she went insane. A similar thing happens to Them. Instead of constantly trying to go up, into their bodies, They search for new bodies. By descending (and getting the sacrifice ending) you embrace this new plane of existence and can enjoy it. You can eat the cinnamon bun. This started of with me wanting to make a joke by over analyzing something trivial, but half way through I realized that my joke could be a legitimate interpretation of the game.

I am about 30 second in, and I just wanted to say, "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!"

I want to like this game, I really do, but I just do not understand the combat mechanics. I can cast HA whenever I want, but not LA. Even when the enemy has more than 5 freezes on him, I still cannot cast Regeneration. AP and C are only available sometimes; they are so rare that I can go whole battles without them being available. If I know why these things are as they are then I would love this game; but I do not understand these mechanics. I am not going to rate this game, because I would have to be honest and give 3 stars. It does not deserve that. The fact that I do not understand the mechanics may be (is probably) my fault.

The last quest I had was "Get 4 Perfect Launches." One my forth Perfect Launch, got up to the ceiling and banged my head really hard. The irony made me laugh a little.

This game is great. There is only two things I wish for. First, I do not understand the sequences put into the Gravity Machine's console. Second, it would have been really scary if all the stone heads at the creator opened their eyes when you are leaving. Still, A game half this good would still get a 4/5 from me.

This is a good game, and I wanted to give it 5 stars; but without a promised sequel I cannot. 4/5 is still good. Please keep making games, even if they will not be sequels to this one.

Beacker I disagree with what you said. Not your interpretation but how it compares to Western culture and reward. Many games are about gathering money and material possessions but in the best games these are the means to a goal. Elona Shooter is about you defending a village from monsters by shooting them as they cross a field. Getting better weapons and subordinates is a big part of the game but the only things that transfer from one game to another is achievements displayed in the Museum. The defense of the town and the recording of history are the goals of the game; money is the means. Think about the childhood stories you learned as a toddler. These stories reveal what society's core values are. Aladdin ends with the hero marring the princess. This is not done because of her wealthy; the movie showing how this is vain and hollow, leading to a pathetic existence (think of the suitor at the very beginning who losses his undergarments).

I like the of the recurring villain. The idea of 'The Rusty Lake' Monster' trapping mentally ill people, and birds, in their own minds is an accurate description of how different people must overcome their mental illnesses: facing it head on, stopping it from deciding your future, destroying it with artistic expression, acknowledging it with the help of another. I cannot wait for the next game. When people say games are an art-form, this is what they are referring to.

Great game. I cannot wait for more. P.S. "No, I will not turn the ball 10 degrees so that the stripes are in the right place!"

I wish the game was a little harder. Also, some of the items should have been used in multiple ways. That way the play needs to try several different combinations. Like how the boards and nails can be used on the door or the window. Still, I like the idea and it was executed well.

madeupnamejr, you should watch these 'Extra Credits' episodes. I would recommend that you go in this order: Idle Games - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g-LziX2HynI Skinner Boxes - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tWtvrPTbQ_c The Waiting Game - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ptk93AyICH0&list=PLhyKYa0YJ_5B9CbWO0UkKqIJL8mJjAaOl&index=29&feature=iv&src_vid=g-LziX2HynI&annotation_id=annotation_3022541571 If you are a serious gamer, I really need to watch the Skinner Box episode; otherwise some game developer will take advantage of you via psychology.

I just finished level 15. I got stuck and really annoyed because the red light was not boosting me up very much. I thought, "Jump high must be higher the closer you are to the center." I went another 20 or so times when by without any success. Then I think, "When I hold a side key, the vertical boost is less and the horizontal boost is more." Another 20 or so tries go by. Finally, I figure out that holding the up key will increase the boost. I really like the game so far, I just wish that mechanic was explained better. I don't mean that the programmer simple says it, that would sound forced and awkward; but rather told to me through a level's design. Based on what I have seen so far, you are a skilled game developer and could probably think of a way to do this. P.S. Thanks for the fun game!\

Kongai

I could definitely get into this if there was: 1: More Cards 2: People (but I guess that is not really the game's fault) They should have the kongpanions be items, or warriors. What would be really cool is if every kongpanion was an item, but you could temeparily put 2 together to make a warrior. Just 4 kongpanions could combine to form 6 warriors. Instantly add whole no possibilities into the game and solves my 2 problems with it. Plus, they need more games for the kongpanions to be in or people will just lose interest and this game already uses kongregate content as game elements.
