@Demonicyoshi yes, It does, In fact, have 3 mushrooms a day instead of the usual two for people who upgraded map room and had at least 1 outpost.

@inman28 the mushrooms become more common once you start getting outposts. and for the other question, its like the hatchery control center. it is a bonus to save time.
