I actually wouldn't mind playing through again, but it's impossible because enemies don't show up due to my high levels, so I can't even complete the mutt quest. I obviously have no idea how hard programming is, but maybe a way for the player to toggle random encounters in areas they've been to already could be a useful band-aid if/until the source of the bug is found and fixed.
Well, the problem is that I don't know which variables get reset and which don't - it would likely be impossible to do all the quests again at that point. I have no idea what causes this "wipeout" of data when you enter the temple of Toxa - I can't see anything in the code that would do this. An option would be re-upload the original version of the game - it didn't have this Toxa glitch, but it had a glitch in the Trial of Fire, where sometimes if the player didn't light all torches, he would stuck due to not having enough torches to extinguish.
I really love this game, and the community-created games keeps me coming back. Unfortunately, that particular menu is confusing to navigate and its impossible to tell which ones I've already played. Maybe allow creators to title their maps, to help differentiate them?
I don't think I'm capable of playing this game correctly. I start out right, high infectivity, low visibility, but as soon as the cure starts being developed I start rooting for the humans..
There I was, about to finish my very first small nest, four glooples left, and a gigantic red thing with scyther blades comes at me. I die. Rate 5 stars.
I think 666 is very appropriate. After about three hours, this game does start to feel like the spawn of satan pulling you deeper into a hole you cannot get out of.... 5/5
"Hey, boss? Yeah, I'm sorry, I'm gonna have to be late for work today. Well, it's these darklings, they keep eating all my fairyflies!" ... ... "Hello?"
Whoever manages to achieve this impossible badge should get much more than 60 points. They should get a million dollars and co-ownership of Kongregate.
