I like this game, but can you please allow us to turn off the music but keep the sound FX? It would be nice to see the whole arc of fire, as it is off the screen and one can't scroll up while placing the unit. Also I could not tell if putting a unit behind a pill box blocks their line of fire or not?
BTW Kongregate, PLEASE get rid or the up/down comments, the up dow vote is being used to vote for the game not the post, therefore it is not working, the developers need negative (constructive) criticism. An up/down is voting for popularity, which we already have as a ranking on the five stars!
To append my last comment, becasue some people have problem on hard.
It is not too hard on hard, focus more on resource gathering and low resource cards, the "big" cards don't help you , keep it small and agile.
great game, but the only real upgrades are sound, graphics and Muti-player (not that those are easy). I was really hoping for more cards than the 6 extras, which prove not so great at the end because you cant get enough resources to cast them. All and all an excellent game, I'll give it 4/5 the first one got 5/5 but I expected more from 2.0. :)
Wow looking through all the comments, it seems that anyone making a comment not in favor of this game, no mater how well written or non offensive, is being negative rated. Developer using the rating system to squash negative comments?
This game has large issues in Firefox, but IE seems to chug along fine. I really gave it a chance. 3 days of play, and decient prestiege.
I just find it too slow, too buggy, very poor graphics, but mostly it is just very repetitive. Almost within the hour, the moment my "newbie" status went off I was gang-banged by a league. There is no way to stay independent (joining a big league is not independent).
These type of games are always like this, those who get there first get big and bad and everyone who comes in later are just part of a massive pyramid game. How is this fun? In reality a small city state could hold off bigger aggressors, because the cost and pain they dealt to their aggressor meant they really thought hard before attacking another. Additionally in reality a small group of men can hold off a siege for months or years, if well stocked. Walls and traps are useless in this game. They really should give defenders a 1000% increase in defense.
Nice prequel to the Infectonator game! 5/5 I really like these games, something fun about being Brain and doing what I do every night - take over the world! Muhahahahahaa *cough* *cough*
/Damn virus...
This is a really great idea, I love the whole concept and that you made the jumps predicated on the location in other worlds not hitting the exact pixel to make the jump. One complaint, please allow the game to expand on a browser zoom, it's not difficult, it helps people who use high resolution video on a large screen, as it is now I can barely see the game! 4/5. 5/5 when I can zoom please. :)
Solid game, a bit on the easy side. I think becasue it feeds you the shape. If one were to have to choose the order, then the possibilities increase, however the level design becomes more difficult to control. Good game.
The AI doesn't understand how to setup and win paxes, or multiple paxes. I went all 18 levels without loosing. That being said it is a nice change up of a smooth quick card game, and it is quite polished. It will be fun to see how I do against a person, my guess it pretty much becomes like war in that it is random who wins with 2 people who understand how to play.
would have been nice to put shapes together, not be stuck to one single shape. Then have hinges and motors between the shapes too. As it was a slightly barbed stick fixed about everything.
Nothing in this "game" is good, it is just a spew fest of whine. People are people and whining about it wont change anything, and just alienates the people who are your audience. If you want 5/5 comments, make a 5/5 game.
I am not a fan of jumping games, but you did a great job on this one. Great concept, well done on level design and puzzles. Great camp feel of the old 8 bit days. Only thing is I wish I could turn off the music but leave the other sounds. 4/5
So what is so cool about this game and why does it have badges? PoP was such a compelling game and with modern flash and systems there is no reason the same type of game play could not have been reproduced on a website. This is buggy, auto-run is silly and I swear in the same level the same series of buildings repeats with just different mobs/traps. I am amazed this is on the front page.
