I can't even form an opinion about this game as it keeps locking up when I try to do something and then the loading bar comes up and never goes away. To buggy to play = 1/5 sorry. :(
Other than the terrible targeting on the towers, and the mute and music buttons not being separate (music button mutes), I like the game, I like the auto leveling towers and skill-point mix, neat concept.
Combat system is non existent. There is no real RPG elements other than a simple level up. Sprites get caught on everything. Level cap at 30. Repetitive and boring, just like a mouse clicking a button to get a reward. But it is mostly polished. 2/5
I don't know why these get rated so high. Sure it is somewhat clever, but really, this is not even in the same ballpark as games like Gemcraft and Sonny. Nor is it a rally good puzzle game. It is good for about 8 minutes, then never to be played again. It is fun and solidly average, but way over rated. In my book that means a 3/5.
First, I hope the developer is OK there in Chile, and my heart goes out to the earthquake victims there.
I like this game but it needs some more to be a great game. It needs more things to interact with when flying, be they slowdowns or explosions to speed up. This is even more true at high altitudes. Next, once you past the stars it is just black, something more creative perhaps? Let me turn off the music but keep the SFX on. It takes forever to get a good kick going, then it is way to easy, a balanced upgrade curve would really help. Also other than the flying kick the other powers seem to have no real use, I only ever saw the ice bolt and flying kick show up on a button. And can we have a win goal please?
Last, the graphics don't scale if I zoom the browser. For us who use really large monitors at very high resolutions this is a problem because it is so small on the screen.
I am going to still give it a 3/5 because I think this has real potential to be a lot of fun.
I like the game, but it is a bit long for what it is. What really got me is the curve of play needs to be re-calibrated. It starts out where you really can't do much damage and calls for grinding, but then the curve shoots out of control and it becomes too easy where destroying a town is just clicking a few times and sitting back. A more even curve of play would do loads to making this a more enjoyable game. Also please let me turn off the music, but keep the sound effects! This should be a requirement for any modern game! So unless the sound and play curve changes the best I can give is 3/5, 4/5 if these things can be fixed.
@sky0731. division by zero makes a non-real number (well it can be argued that 0 is not a real number as well).
Consider the fractions 1/(1/2), 1/(1/4), 1/(1/8), and so on. As the denominator gets smaller, the answer gets bigger 1/(1/2) = 2, 1/(1/4) = 4, 1/(1/8) = 8 and so on to positive infinity. So if one were to assume that infinity were an actual number, that would indicate that 1/0 is positive infinity. However, if you consider 1/(-1/2) = -2, 1/(-1/4) = -4, 1/(-1/8) = -8, and so on that indicates that 1/-0 which equals 1/0 is negative infinity. That means that 1/0 would be both negative and positive infinity.
AS good as this is, it does nothing new, breaks no new grounds, and doesn't add to the genre at all. It is a solid TD game, and if it came 2 years ago would be a 4/5 game. As it is to little, to late, 3/5 is the best I can give.
