Finally finished, it is quite hard. I was wrong about the doomsday towers, they are needed every level over 17. I will say however the lead up to full towers leaves some wondering why this game is good. So, in my opinion, I would make it more complex in the beginning, so there is not a huge lead up time until it is fun. For people like mmwmmw, I would say stick with it, it gets significantly more interesting and difficult as you go up in levels. Only thing I would like to see added is the stats of the creepers, as it is difficult to judge when the various affects are on and where to put your next tower in relationship to their hit points.
Controls are much to sluggish, repetitive and boring. I hate jumper games anyway, so this is no different. And how the *&^)(* did this get into the badge system when there were so many games that were submitted that were superior?
This is great, I love to see people trying to advance the defense tower genre. This is a great first pass at a new idea, and while it is fairly simple in it's inception and needs to be more puzzle like and more fleshed out for power-ups, types, etc. Adding a new twist will undoubtedly lead to more refinement as others continue to expand on the concept.
Great Idea, very fun. Physics are off, but are probably really hard with explosives. It would be cool if you made the next one with difference charges, kickers, shaped charges, etc. each with it's own properties.
Love to try it but it never does anything after I push the yellow create button to create a login. No errors, nothing, I can click the button 40 times and nothing happens... Something wrong?
Well it looks like the game is no longer re-directing you to another page and playing in Kongregate. BUT I can't play because they fix the resolution and with a high -end high resolution rig, I HAVE to zoom or it is a small little area on my screen. So still 1/5. If a developer can't take the time to let me play the game the way I desire to, then the game is worthless to me.
Well if it was a normal shooter I would give it 3/5, but since it is complex in it's upgrades, I WILL give it 4/5. The upgrades help man, so stop your preaching.
Was there really a need to make the timing so increasingly tight that you can't finish levels unless you exactly jump at the right time? Level 12 is a good example, why could you not loosen the timing so that a run clone would work not have to jump, turn round in mid air, release the clone, then land and move the electricity. Is this a puzzle game or a "be on the exact pixel game"? Hardness should come from the design not forcing the players into a carbon copy of some solution. Maybe with an analog controller it would work like Mario, but were on a keyboard for goodness sakes! 3/5
Nice game. Couple of bugs, it doesn't always display the ball after you foul. After I potted the 8 there was a yellow ball left on the table but the table reset and made me break from where my cue ball had come to rest from the prior shot.
From the description I thought this was going to be a "find the spot" type puzzle game ("Point, click, drag, drop, think …"). However it turned out to be an exercise in tediousness and mediocrity. It sure is NOT run to play really basic break out, pong*, trace the line, and reaction time games. Level 26 is just an exercise in stupidity. So since I have found the game does not match it's description, I am giving a 2/5. 1 for the post and 1 for it being well programed at least. Please don't make any more of these unless you get away from tedious tired endurance games.
*(I HATE pong games, it's been done billions and billions of times since the first one on an oscilloscope, and they keep getting worse!)
