My biggest problem is that when you hit the edge, it continues to draw a line when you come back even after you release the mouse button that you press to draw. I have lost many games because it draws when I don't want it to.

How do you use the bow? I have it equiped, but I don't see anywhere how to use it.

The attack key (C is default for keyboard) will use the equipped weapon. You can also click the button to the left of the hotkeys. Z is a context-sensitive key that performs the best action with the best weapon, but it never uses ranged weapons as it needs a nearby enemy to have context.
