I said I played for a few and I got lost in stormshard mountains, not that I only just discovered them too... I'm up to the shazari desert, but I haven't been doing it much after fighting (spoiler) nephits eyeball mutation thingys in the castle.
It would be awesome if loot items such as magic beans obtained in dread dungeons had the name of "Dread *loot*" and were worth considerably more... as well as gold drops giving more money...
@Dog first, play for more then a minute before commenting. There are heaps of places, I've played for a few months and I've already found myself getting lost in Storm... stormsomething mountains. Far from there being one place, there must be hundreds... Just do what your quest log thing tells you, and you wont be stuck in Wolfs End. About your updates... "we need updates" is a stupid suggestion. Well of course we want updates. The problem is, what will you update?
@Eviltwin the best way to heal is eating humans. Destroy their ships and eat them, it heals a lot. Also, to get aliens you must reach your full size, dive to the bottom of the sea and use your boost to go directly up. Sometimes there wont be spaceships, but most of the time you'll see at least one. Once I knocked 3 out of the air in one jump... This is coming from someone who's 24th in all time records for score, btw, and thats pretty much how I got that score.
Not particularly encouraging to new players, I've played about six games and in every single one everyone is basically hating against newbies. I think I'll stick with bad eggs online and other games with a more welcoming community. I think it would be a great game tho.
The scrolling really sucks, it often scrolls at the worst possible times when you're trying to slash. The camera should always be focused on you unless you use the s and d keys to move, and as soon as you mopve it focuses on you again. I'm finding it extremely difficult to even look at my opponents...
I'm a little bit lost here.... To tell the truth, I cant find anywhere but the fields and the house. I just spent about 10 minutes jumping around everywhere to try and find something new, but as of yet I cant find the basement, get into the house, find plumbing or pretty much do anything but jump around in the field. Little help any1?
I think the money part is completely false, but I dont deny I did prefer the old, classic ROTMG when I first came on (This was before Lord Of the Lost Lands etc). When it was sold to Kabam I do agree it'sbeen going downhill. Maybe Kabam should've bought it but not actually changed anything but added new creatures/shop items.
@Sniper like? You cant just say "More things for fame". Thats like saying "More updates". What if they dont know what to make for fame, because as I see it, its all perfectly reasonable. @Farting its basically just lag, except it doesnt actually show too much. @Fan I've played this for 2 years (abouts) and I dont see why you need gold. Everything you buy with gold is useless or not needed (You dont need more vault space and character spots, y'know)
@Alex It isnt a pay to win game. I have played for around 1 1/2 to 2 years, and I have never bought a single coin. Coins are for dyes and pets, not for anything that helps you win.
Give 1 gold for every 10 fame? Okay... I am currently on 4000 fame... add about 3000 for purchases... Right. So I'd have roughly 700 gold right now. Seems a bit harsh on the devs, how would they make money? If anything, 1 gold for every 100 fame, making me on about 70.
@overmyhead Its just lag. You never actually got it, someone got it while you were dragging it. If it didnt do that, you'd just see it disappear when you were dragging it.
@777 You're forgetting something... It's only addictive because you DONT revive. I have had this discussion many times before, and I do not want to go through it again, but here goes anyway...
If you revived people who played this would become lvl 20 easily and would always bite off more then they can chew, because nothing bad happens. When you finally win, you get awesome items. End result: Invincible in less then 2 hours of playing...
@Andrew And how about the people who beg at the very start, then give free items to just about everyone they can, no matter how good the items are? I beg. SO WHAT? I also get to lvl 20. I also solo farm medusas etc. I also give out heaps and heaps of free items every day I play...
What I really hate is the fact that 'noob' is often connected to 'troll' and 'idiot'. Noob means someone who is bad at the game, but it generally is the pros who are not generous or grateful when you give them items, as well as being the trolls and stealing items. Of course, there are exceptions, but I generally find that the 'pros' have given themselves a bad name. I am not a pro. The hardest thing I can kill soloing is a red demon, and then I die about 90% of the time. The most potions I've ever had in one game is 2. Yet I can find the time and inventory space to give out free items. I do get very annoyed when a person goes off with your free items without saying thank you, and grateful when they do...
It would be cool if there was a multiplayer chase mode as well, which puts two players together and whoever gets the furthest without dying wins. Great game anyway, 5/5
