Very nice game, but laggs on my computer. I hope each of those trees aren't individual sprites, right? The background (except maybe the buildings) should be flat, combined, 2D sprites aligned to look 3D (if they're not already).
Thank you for the feedback! It lags on your computer? I tried this game on a Intel i3 1st gen with a Geforce 310 and it ran well. Anyways your advice is still correct. The trees were just laid using Unity's terrain tool. I hope it doesn't use separate instances because like you said that add a lot to the PC rendering load. Thanks for playing.
Good news and bad news guys!
Good news: I made 3 tracks of some actually pretty good original music for the game.
Bad news: They need to be MP3 format to work with the game and they're MIDI and I have no way to convert them to MP3. Sorry.
Thanks guys. I'm not so sure about music, obviously it has to be original and I'm not very good at making music. But if I can find someone to do that then music will definitely be there. As for purple guys not falling off, I'm working on it right now so that they don't fall off platforms. And yes, all the colors are going to be used as enemies and platforms and bosses. I have a surprise planned for the end of the game (about, oh I'd say, well into 20 or so levels) and then maybe some alternative mode that never ends. Thanks for the feedback guys! I'm taking all your suggestions into hand.
I'm a developer and I don't even accept the money for the ads before my game that they offer me... I don't take any money at all. You're my exact opposite. You lust for money. This is not the way to do it.
sorry for another comment so soon but in the middle of matches I get cut to the main menu in the middle of a game-- not because I got kicked, just randomly. Also, when loading a match it will say 100% and then never go into the match. Also you should add a message to indicate if you were kicked, and why (by host/teamkilling)
Just makin a mention -- the descriptions, during creating a match, for S&D and CTF are switched. Also a level system would be great-- but please dont make it like other online FPS games, where it takes 10 years to get to level 2.
