@jooe15 yeah but I'd rather not have Sundering Ogre be stronger. It already can win, it just has to live to activation. SOgre spam builds are boring to fight against.
Exceptionally great game, one of the best on kongregate that I've played. The absolute best thing this game had going for it was a strong storyline with memorable, personality-driven characters. I played the game through on Hard, found it to be pretty easy, yet a little challenging and entirely enjoyable. :)
Maxed Int, Def and rest went to agi. Barely bought weapons; only the laser / then the wave cannon. Loaded all money into shield/regen mods...by the end, I had 1222 shield, 118 shield regen per second. The only thing that very challenging was the final boss itself. Definitely wanting a sequel!
Can't beat the game. Sure, I can own each battle easily, but when a "Firebomb thrower" came into play ... every single time the enemy throws his bomb the game goes haywire on me. Unplayable.
Pretty nice game. It's funny though, that "rank" doesn't really matter. I could take down the beast and other players with big-name cards without trouble. Armored Dragons and Bull Riders are quite powerful... and ranged units, I just detested. Their damage seemed weak. Instead, I focused on hard-n-heavy killers. ...bull riders. Murderous! Just rank 3 too.
I must agree with some other users; this really gave me the feel of a metroid game. Then later, it resembled Contra a little when I got a gun and grenades. This definitely was very well tested by the dev(s), well polished, and thought out. Cheers, Asvegren... 5 stars for such hard work to produce a satisfying game :)
Okay that whole "SAS dollar" thing is fracking stupid. I just added money to my game without confirmation how much SAS dollars it would take (or even that it would take it). Once I realized what happened I reloaded the game hoping to 'clear' that mistake, but nope. Dollars spent, and the d$m game wants kong creds now. Screw that.
Ok; found the way to get out of squad management. For some stupid reason, the flash game was sized larger than the kong flash box allowed...I just reset the zoom size of the page and this flash game got larger, revealing the 'X' on the top right. That's...weird. First time I've seen that happen.
What the heck. I have no 'back' button on squad management page...meaning every time I 'manage' a squad I had to refresh the page just to get out of that screen. God, that's annoying.
Uh...I encountered a Mindflayer dungeon (2 skulls) that's got a blocked path. I can't get to enemies/chest, because a wooden crate is in my way. The dungeon is unbeatable. =/
I've only played a little of it so far; but I can tell right away that this built off of the last game you made and smoothed out a lot of its rougher edges, bringing out a well polished sequel. It's immersive, and very easy to get into and enjoy. Nice job.
Oh; here's an idea. It could be very beneficial if each unit/building had the ability to have a "Deactivate" to click on. It could really help some people with testing strategies/new units, as well as help getting that "How?" badge late-game.
Simply a marvelously designed game. You have truly made something spectacular; one that I'm considering purchasing the 'extra content' for. I usually don't even consider such a thing. For you to be coding this stuff while going to college; congratulations, you've got a great career ahead of you IMO. 5 Star, fav'd game.
I was worried when I realized the power of drones. I literally only had to spam drone bots out to win any level, but thankfully the difficulty ramped up near the end and winning like that became impossible. However I combined crazy amount of fat drones with a crazy amount of +shield/money chargers. Hello infinite life. lol. It still takes awhile to set that up though. I personally only used the drone tower but with the charger tower for shield generation.
This game is awesome, a tower defense that lets you actually strategize, and ramps up the difficulty (but not too much). Something I love. Thanks for this awesome game, 5 stars!
Meh...absolutely no strategy to it. The game was literally "hold the Up arrow key, hit X when you can make it fly" - done. =/ Game rated a 3- good effort and good possibilities/was interesting, but...little playability due to the above..
Mind-numbingly easy; barely used any potions, etc. Strategy:
Start of the game get 25% never-ending regen spell, focus all your efforts on +max hp. Max your combat tree. Middle of the game focus on +attack.
Don't bother with alchemist building, don't get every kind of building(healers = useless). All you need is default warriors, catapults, and the dragon. Let the catapult/dragon attack castle, forget all else. Every building slot? Put "Shrine" on it (late-game).
I haven't even beaten the game and I can regen any damage I receive away almost, and I can deal 36K damage in one round. Easy as pie game. lol Any game that has "percent of X" skills...max the heck out of those, great benefits.
