I'm not sure if you're already aware of this or not, but your game was ripped off... Pretty directly. It was used in an augmented-reality-like game that 5 Gum has been doing lately. The levels are even identical.
Very well-made game, and quite clever at points. Also, I like the secondary motion on the zipper on her hoodie when she moves (yet no secondary motion on the hair?). But please, have a way to save progress in the completed version. xD
Much more reminiscent of Kirby for N64, and one of the only times I've seen a Flash game programmed in 3D like this. Impressive, especially considering it still runs alright. Also, VERY cute.
This is a very well-done twist on an old game archetype. My only complaint is that it is rather difficult to play with a touchpad, and that could be helped with, ironically, what Lathen praised this game for not doing - a more "monotone" mode, where you draw the lines before moving, or just have straight lines like most other games like this I've played have. But still, very enjoyable.
Fairly fun, but much too short and nearly died around day 9 due to a horrible blind spot in the bottom right. Only reason I survived was that I happened to invest in the Comet spell just before that.
Very awesome idea, but definitely needs more levels, and some sort of quality control for slower machines. (This is easily my most common complaint.) User-based content would likely be a good idea as well.
Certainly a fun game, but had to give a 3/5 for two seemingly small, but incredibly annoying missing features:
1) QUALITY CONTROL. Should be a basic in Flash games, shouldn't it? I mean, a lot of people that play Flash games are either bored and tired of other games, or have computers too crappy to play them. Throw in a quality control for those of us who fall in the latter category, please.
2) PAUSE. You'd think this to be a very simple addition, seeing as it existed in games since NES, and possibly even first and second generation as well (I'm too young to know, and I never played an Atari). Just committing suicide would work... Up until you're achievement-whoring and want to reset, but have the two 400 point achievements that make it damn near impossible to kill yourself.
Y'know, this really helped dissipate a fairly violent rage... I only have one comment: You should add a blood cleaner. Clean the blood off the body parts and the background. I just turned the default guy into a pile of filets, and I'd like to see my handiwork without the interference of the blood splatters all over the place.
I HATE Newgrounds games coming to Kongregate for ONE reason: NO QUALITY CONTROL. The Newgrounds ad at the beginning is CPU-intensive enough, but jesus... I had to wait about 30 seconds for my crap computer to even fade to black after clicking "Start Game".
Also, the controls don't seem to support input of multiple directions. That is, if you hold both W and A, you don't move up and to the left, but rather drift slightly to whatever direction you were holding first, then move only in the second. This might have something to do with the "stopping for no reason" I see people complaining about.
I beat this before the badges were added, and when I went back to beat the last section of each path for them, I found that selecting the last area of Liam's path results in a blackscreen.
Also, has anyone caught what the Hard perk was? I missed it because the fireworks scene screws my computer up so bad that I need to click like crazy to get to the next scene, and I skipped that screen.
