The game is fun, but it becomes ridiculously easy once you get the sticky shield. Before that, I was losing about half my health a level just trying to ricochet the shots at the right angle. After I bought the sticky shield, I almost never took damage again. Combine that with the shield bounce and energy transfer upgrades and you can easily 1-shot any non-boss enemy that shoots at you.
The game starts out fairly enjoyable and quite relaxing. However, by the time you get half-way done, you start to need to have half of the circle be specific colors/symbols. It's not okay to have that much pressure on the player to get lucky with their draws, especially when there is no saving. This game has a lot of potential, but the fact that you can get through the entire game, lose on the last level, and have to start all the way from the beginning just because you are unlucky has a huge negative effect on the fun that can be had from playing this.
The game was really enjoyable at first, but as it went on I began to run into some annoying situations. The worst was when two civilians were right on top of each other. I would rescue one and apparently they would fly off with enough force to kill the second civilian. This resulted in me not getting gold medals on levels several times because a civilian would die with no enemies or debris anywhere near them. Another downside is that, while fun, many of the units are pretty useless to get. Once you got a spy, then the only other things you needed were something to kill safely from range, and something to fly so the high up stars could be reached. In the end, I did the whole game with just a Spy and a Heli-G (I would use an Artillery for fun every now and then).
Decent game, but it can become very one-sided very fast. Winning first place gets you more money, more money means more training, more training means more likely to win first place. The first time I got first place it was a close race, but every race after that I won by a larger and larger lead. The end result of this is a game that becomes exponentially easier as you advance further.
Fun game but I have 1 complaint. During the climbing training I keep finding spots where it's impossible to go any further because either a)I have to make an impossibly long jump to get to the safe wall, or b)The track actually runs outside the screen and the side still onscreen can't be climbed.
I'm not going to claim to be original in this comment. I agree with what's already been said, gold is way too important and cards need to stack in browser. On a side note, who else hates it when they have a Decker card in their deck and it's the very last card they draw.
I love the feeling of being able to completely turn the tables on the zombies in the end. I was trying to capture every square in the town (went with 10x10) and eventually my defense rating was so high just from police stations and fortified malls/all marts that I was able to take all of my 20+ soldiers and just wipe out the zombies (making sure not to hit the "wrong" squares and end the game).
I love the game, definitely expands on the current zombie concepts (search for survivors, survive zombie attacks, search for supplies, etc.). I love the random events, especially when people randomly go through and kill nearby zombies. I was genuinely scared for my village when I got a huge wave of super zombies heading for my town.
An excellent game which still remains to be unique in the puzzle genre. It really makes you have to plan out your strategy, especially in the end. The difficulty is enough to present a challenge, but it's not so challenging to be frustrating. Some of the in-game achievements are a little ridiculous though, such as getting to the final fight without ever killing anything. Overall, a 5/5. Keep 'em coming.
I managed to create a planet so large that it wasn't possible for it to exist. It started hitting the green asteroids so fast that it just expanded until it covered every ring of the solar system and hit the sun. In the end its civilization level was over 20, and its maximum population was so large that it started to show it in scientific notation (1e7 for example). Yet I still don't know how to get the achievements: Satellite Launched!, Type 1!, and Uroburos!
Spent a long time manually leading a planet to the far reaches of the solar system to collect those wonderful green asteroids that hang out in the further rings. Almost immediately after I got the last one, one of the giant red planetoids crashed into me. The mass increase resulted in the big red's orbit shifting to fly in towards the center of the system, where it proceeded to destroy all of my other planets. Horrible story, but even this was entertaining to watch and enjoyable to listen to. Great game, even with the advanced player needed for it the game still maintains a beautiful simplicity that seems to be disappearing in newer flash games.
This game definitely has the potential to be a great game, or at the very least a very entertaining time waster. Can't wait to see the game keep developing with the updates.
An excellent variation of a genre that is beginning to get a little stale. I love the focus on the time spent bouncing, as opposed to some launch games where roughly 90% of your time will be spent up in the air. Plus, shooting food at border guards is very amusing.
