This game is quite fun! Although, and now this may be me just not being the best at this type of game, it seems to start a bit more difficult than it should be for the first level. I barely made it through on easy. This may be to the fact that the dragon robot thing doesn't stop when you let go but changes automatically when change in direction. This next thing may be on purpose, but I can move the dragon off the screen. Other than that, it is great fun.
This game seems like it would be a great time-waster. If you have any want to improve this game, here are some tips: 1. Make it so the ball hits the top of the paddle, not the middle. 2. Add a Personal Highscore in the game. 3. Try adding power-ups, such as Longer/shorter paddle; bigger/smaller ball; distracting background (if you want); 3 ball; speed up; slow down; etc. 4. Sometimes when you hit the edge of the paddle, it will go the opposite way (e.g. hit left side, goes right). This is all up to you. Good Luck! =)
It's cool. Definitly reminds me of THPS. Though, you should try to add a nose manual. Also, with manuals, if you go one way off the scale, you should bail but if you go the other way, you should just land it. Nice approach on the THPS 2d. Room to grow.
It would be nice if you could restart in mid game. If you wanted to go for a max combo, it would be easiest to just keep retrying until you get them because it gets hard to build up a combo later on.
I see. I took that feature out because I thought people might restart when getting unlucky at the start until they get really easy enemies (horizontal movement only, or stuff like that), and I wanted to avoid that. Pressing Escape to go back to the menu is the fastest way to do it right now.
I like it, kinda reminds me of finding nemo. Maybe adding things that slow the shark down when you get it but slow you down if the shark gets it. Maybe if you survive long enough, the shark loses interest so you can upgrade your fish. Maybe making the spiky things take less speed away from you or the speed boost gives you a bit more. Maybe some fisherman nets to watch out for. Maybe an electric eel that will slow down vertical movement. Just some ideas. Fun game so far.
Decent game. Some health would allow the player to survive even if touched by an army guy. Either that or lives. If you did add this, you could make it so the army guy bounces back after hitting you. That way you could get a shot on him. Good game with room for improvement.
I like the game. It may help to have a slight pause at the beginning of levels so that the players can be ready to hit the paddle. I lost a life at the beginning of each level. Other than that, it's a nice, simple game! 4/5
I am having the same problem as honnza on level 8. When the bridge rises, the stone jumps out. May be the same on all levels with the moving object and the stone.
