If you need to level people up and you haven't beaten the earth temple yet, Legion can use Spirit Nova to OHKO the golems that attack you when you fail the puzzle for thousands of easy XP points.

If you are trying to get the impossible badge, the best way to get star ratings in the bosses is to play with pacifist mode, both extra hearts and -30% bullet speed. I recomend playing blue star NoLegs and turning on high contrast bullets when attempting this tactic. + so others can see!

You see, Matt: I usually like to play your games in the highest difficulty, but a four year old laptop can only try to load so many bullets.

Seeing how just beating the normal mode constitutes an impossible badge really makes you wonder what the developers were thinking when they added a hardcore mode.

@Sonicsuperfan14 Did you by any chance get the Overdrive skill? Because that's the only logical explanation.

Intimidated by the Baron's absurdly high health? Just deplete his focus and that will take care of itself.

You might think that the hidras' dual instakill is bad, but at least it doesn't have the turn of dreadful anticipation of valkirie's dual nukes.

Welp, took me a year, but I've finally beaten godcat in epic difficulty, now let's find something else to do with my life.

Maybe add more bosses/ colour versions of the "boss" ship? Fighting the same big green ship over and over again gets pretty boring once you make it to the point where you can take down five of them in epic difficulty at the same time.

Don't you just love how as a juggernaut you can poison the guy whose anti-poison crown you are trying to steal?

I really loved this game, but it left me with a question: If we have a magic field that can make the rangers and mages protecting our men undetectable and invincible, why don't we just make our men undetectable and invincible?

A tower defense game that not only explains why enemies just keep walking in the middle of an arrow shower without ever trying to defend themselves or strike back, but also makes fun of that? You have won my five stars, sir.
