Dying in this game is inevitable, no matter how good or bad your ship is, it will reach a point where the enemy can kill it. Your rating is based off of how much you win/lose. You win more, you'll get harder and harder enemies. Your comments are telling me you either don't actually play this game, or you're just stupid. Also thanks for the response devs

There are several online platforms on which players help each other with builds.
you have to complete daily missions to get those, which requires you to win 3 games in a row. if you get destroyed you have to wait 15 minutes at frigate level. just at frigates. I don't want to know how long supercarriers have to wait. and at most you only get a few repairkits, so unless plan on spending a few hours a day on this just to get a few games in a row and not being able to actually grind, be my guest. also, armorgames has the exact same repairkits, which will make costs almost nothing, if you want to argue about that.
Went to confirm if what lilshmegan said was true, it unfortunately is. The game is severely out of date on kongregate. Play it on armorgames or on mobile. The grind on kong is about 100x worse, due to the repair timer. no joke. Do not play this on kong.
