Very well done. A few suggestions to make it even better. Pause at system entry. I'd like to have time to read the info when I enter a new system. Visual range circle. It would be nice to have an additional circle on the minimap that shows my visual range to help judge distance at different zoom levels. All components should show stats in shop. Some items, such as shields, have no info box. I completed the game, but the missions Eye of the Storm and The Invasion still show incomplete. Money should drop a little more readily. I would have liked to try out more upgrades. The missile fabricator should be available a little earlier. I look forward to the sequel.

Tutorial/Achievement system is a good idea, but it needs much better proofreading. Dump the text in Word first, if nothing else. It looks sloppy.

After killing the mimic aeronaut in the factory, one of the spores ended up on the highest platform, but I could not pick it up. I jumped on it, kneeled on it and walked back and forth over it. Nothing worked.
