escaped day 10. just don't buy anything first day and on the second buy the artillary and only spend money to repair the ship after that and you should make it on day ten or in the least on day eleven and you'll get the badge :)
when you come to the locks in the train you gotta click each in the correct order and when you get to the last lock you need to check it first then go back a wagon and you should find the note with the code on it
the AI could use some work. isn't such a problem in the career mode but when you do the challenges and your medic or shield are completely dumb it becomes a problem.
oh i also ended up with 5 veteran knights by the end. which will help out in the later waves. you'r number of veterans may vary depending on the computers movements once they are overrun and your chase movements. good luck
to get the easy badge i recommend 7 knights with health bonuses. just walk in a straight line and don't leave your back opena dn its an easy win. i didn't try to go farther as i got bored of the game but if anyone has any luck with this let me know. i may try it out later
