It's a great concept of a game, and a multiplayer version would be more than welcome. However, the fact that the bots have near perfect aim at ridiculous ranges takes a lot away from the game. I just had a bot fire a missile that perfectly swung around 4 planets in a row, falling perfectly on top of my character, launching him into the abyss. The shot was nearly impossible, yet the computer seems to always be able to calculate them. Either you need to extend the aim line to even things up, or you need to make the computer AI make more mistakes.
