Or, you could make the fame cost more for gold each buy, for example 5 fame for one gold and 10 fame for another buy

@ ukill you might want to get a lot of stars first, maybe up to seven, then you ask people if they will let you join their guild, and if they say yes, they invite you and you accept. Your no in a guild (you dont have to get 7 stars, people just prefer people with more stars)
