My ability to think in multiple directions has severely diminished over the years so I'm not really good at these sort of games, but it was enjoyable. I was able to get as far as was possible at the time I originally played this, but I doubt I'd get much farther. All in all nice game. :)
1. Spamming and trolling are both against Kongregate's basic policies.
2. Why are you all so upset over a game that is over six years old?
Video games go into hibernation all the time, some never recover. If you can't handle that you're going to a have a hard time dealing with normal everyday life.
To the RE: Archer devs, I've posted a segment on how your game is handling resources on a few browsers in the Report Bug & Issues section of the forums. I've worked with some of these problems in the past and have median level experience on consultations when dealing with said issues. Take your time reading it and if your team thinks it's something that could develop into a more serious issue in the future, please reach out to me. I would be more than happy throwing ideas around.
@PeeBreak, I'm a network administrator, I regularly do exactly what you're talking about for the beta games and numerous other games on various platforms. I'm just not interested in doing so on this game with the amount of players it has and with obvious confirmation that other players have already brought it to the developers attention. This game at this point is in the late stages of development and it would take me a few weeks at most to catch back up to the highest tier of players. It just doesn't interest me.
I appreciate the input XA, for whatever reason this does not work for me. I still have to do a hard refresh. I'm in no rush though if they know the issue exist. Just more to do when I come back. Have fun everyone.
I haven't been able to play this game since the patch where Ziggurat was added. I was already maxed on everything so I left to let the game fix itself with patches. Here I am some time around 6 months later it feels like if not longer and the upgrades sub menu freezes every time I play for more than a minute or two. No buttons can be pressed. No amount of reloading or variations changes this. No specific combination causes it that I can see.
Makes the game unplayable for me since I can't buy upgrades.
Oy guys, heads up on what may or may not be an issue.
Upon resetting my Anima I am now stuck on the first enemy (Hopping White Bunny) and nothing will happen. Tried resetting Anima again, resetting page, etc. Seems to be no change in each instance. Enemy keeps hopping, characters keep doing idle animations.
Message me privately if you'd like more information and I'll screen shot as much as possible.
Fun concepts, for a quick thought. Maybe adding buff spells into the game to provide more fleshed out play styles.
Examples:
Druid: Obviously AOE and DOT heal dominate, wouldn't change.
The holy build: add spell to temporarily negate damage, reduce damage, etc.
The dark priest build: add spells slowing enemy attacks or increased vampiric effect on your players.
Looks fun, hopefully my save doesn't get deleted.
I believe this is my second review after six months of not playing.
I really like the new trait system, while the depth of it hasn't been completely shown to me. I think it's exactly what this game needed.
Some added diversity might be shown in possibly adding an enemy that is flying above the player that slows down the initial onslaught of enemies because your character has to focus on shooting upward (this may add more usefulness to the ability system, since pushing back enemies would give you said chance to shoot down flying enemy). Just a thought. Anyways keep it up and looking forward to the next update.
Thanks for the comment! We do have plans to add diversity to the game by modifying how monsters behave in the future. We'll note down your suggestion :)

I would keep the overall design and idea, but the entire dev team involved in the project needs to sit down and have a serious discussion on what A to B progression in your game needs to be. As I previously stated I think certain ships should be limited to certain game brackets. Obviously if you aren't good enough to get out of D bracket for instance you shouldn't even consider the ship designs for C bracket. This will prevent purchasing ships before you're ready for them or a ship that looks interesting, but fundamentally has a serious design flaw in the possibilities for weapon/defense/utility. Higher brackets=larger ships=more design possibilities=reward for players who enjoy serious designs.
We give players a choiсe. And they can decide what ship they want, and test their decision in the battle. That how we learn. But we'll prepaire the tips about game soon, that your battles become more comfortable.
Hello devs! I have come back to check your new update.
It is on the right track, I tried playing for about two hours and once again found myself in the same situation as my previous comment review. Certain ships are impossible to progress on.
While some of the changes made getting currency easier, I still found the pace to be such a crawl that I wouldn't want to continue playing this game. It's WoW Vanilla levels of grinding and honestly that's such a niche play style and for the simplicity and lack of diversity on what your game offers. It's not enough to keep players flat out.

About ten minutes it I apparently upgraded the carts in such an order to cause a random bug. After clicking the buy upgrade all the text on the screen started vanishing. I clicked the next buy and even more text vanished. I'm now staring at a screen with absolutely no text. All the buttons and other functions still work.
Also on a personal note and I'm sure I'm not the only one. The fonts, colors, pretty much everything is clashing and causing almost what's like a headache or eyestrain. I have to wear glasses to write code daily and even with my glasses this is making me go blind.
Players hate tutorials and players hate having no idea what to do when they play a game. Finding a happy balance between the two is key to creating a game that doesn't instantly bore a player and a game where a player can instinctively make choices and have a relatively high chance of making a right choice. Within seconds I was going crosseyed with the amount of information being thrown at me from your game and really no way to understand what my choices meant. Simplicity goes a long way, take Mega Man. A really simple game who's entire function can be discovered by the player within seconds (well the core functions at least). That's why platform games are really awesome for entry level developers. If you're going to sit with text based information, you need to clarify or simplify.
As long as you're not trying to get money out of this I literally see no issue.
Considering you had to do some work to convert it to a point and click it's worth noting your effort.
The game is completely unplayable anymore. Lag happens nearly every five seconds for me when there are more than three enemies on the screen. My character starts moving straight towards a group of enemies and will not stop moving. Happens every time a boss is on screen period. I lose all my equipment every time. I want to like this game I really do, I enjoyed playing it at first, but with this very serious issue I can't take the risk needed to get better gear which started to be needed around I'd say level fifty or so. Please figure out how to fix the lag. I'm running current industry standard equipment and have the settings on low for this game. This should not be happening.
Also your in game shop is a joke, twenty dollars for 100k in game currency? That's like using Peso to convert to USD. It's a ripoff. At twenty dollars I should get a premium ship.
