Look the idea behind your game is fine, certain aspects are quite fun.
However there is a serious issue that needs to be addressed.
Money is incredible scarce, don't excuse this with saying daily missions exist and such. One mistake and you're stuck with a ship that can not progress forward even on daily missions or campaigns. Leaving you with zero ability to gain currency outside of a few thousand currency a day. For instance I've gone up against the same opponent in matchmaking thirty times. The opponent destroys my ship in seconds and no amount of attempts even gets close to destroying his ship with any build I try.
This severely limits the game. The campaign mission I'm on is against a ship of the same type and once again nothing comes close. I have no way to build currency to get new ships. Ship types should be limited to your current ranking bracket and not level.
You'll need to change the start of the game. Too many people will quit playing thinking it's a entry level programming attempt at tic tac toe (which I did in college). I thought it was interesting. Good luck!

Various users have claimed bugs in the game, bugs that I have personally found. In the skull puzzle even if you have the correct answer the button will not click solving the puzzle. If you leave the puzzle you'll see in the background that the flags are different then what you placed them as. Simply move the flags to different spots and afterwords move them back. Leave and you'll notice the flags have changed now. It's a real bug people, stop down voting others for telling the developers something is wrong.
Honestly, at this point cloud saving should be mandatory on most games.
Computer did a force reset and lost all game data. Besides that, the game itself is too slow. At nearly 200 gold paint it was becoming a crawl to do anything in the game.
I liked and hated it.
A lot of the game was RNG based gameplay. This did bring about some frustrating experiences and actually made me care about my characters and not rush into everything.
However, maybe too much of the game is based on random factors.
Just doing normal mode I would walk into an area and say two "hell horses" appeared and just utterly destroyed me. I proceed to fight against monsters that are near or at my level and by random chance they beat me.
Have to start the game over.
I repeated this about four different times and had some similar scenario happen.
The save and load functions aren't working yet (not sure if they were meant to). Lost yesterdays trial run of the game. For more information I opened up the settings tab and manually clicked the save option two or three times. Turned on sound and heard an audible click.
Reset my tab and tried to let the game autoload. Started at lvl 1 again. Reset and tried to load from clipboard, keep getting an error.
Visually the game looks very appealing. Take care.
Tried Athens on normal mode, even used multiple walkthroughs. Talking 3 or 4 different walkthroughs. Something always prevents me from being able to prevent Persia from passing. So I tried doing things my own way and was able to block Persia, but soon after I was utterly defeated by Romans. At this point it was a cat and mouse game where I wasted so much time catching up to Romans to gain independence I had to forsake other aspects. Making winning pretty much impossible.
As for the events that keep happening on the walkthrough portions, I keep getting a famine or x or y, that always lowers my production. Even by the smallest amount it causes a chain reaction that makes it impossible to keep up. I've tried playing it 5 different times now and that random event always happens. So how is everyone else dealing with it?
Very much looking forward to the new release, loved your games in the past. Music has always been really fun!
Can not get beta to run on any mainstream browser (IE, Safari, Chrome, Firefox).
Thank you for your honest feedback! We will see what we can do about it.
