Thanks for the feedback! I made the game with and for my 10-year-old son and 8-year-old daughter. They are pretty insistent that the bright crazy colors stay. So I am afraid I cannot change them without upsetting the home team. You can use the overview mode from the camera button if the day-glo buildings are getting to you!
