Tussi341, there are toggle sound and quality options. Once you are in one of the screens where you are actually playing, the toolbar on the bottom has a menu button. That is where you will find the options.

I wish there was a way to turn off all the flashes and sparkles. After about 5,000 distance my eyes start to hurt and it gets too hard to focus. :(

The medium badge was actually really easy for me to get. No one suddenly left the game when they were about to lose. Try talking to your opponent and being friendly, and maybe they won"t quit on you?

If you are having problems with this game seeming to have glitches, try waiting for every piece of the castle to be completely still before taking your next turn. I am on a slow comp, but if i wait between tries everything works just fine.
