I too was having the loading problem. While the game SHOULD be loading, disconnect the internet, and restart it. After I reconnected my game popped on. So try and see if this helps. :D
A hint for knowing how to get the hard. Height - After you pass the Nebula. Speed - You pretty much have a box around you, and you don't look like you're glowing, just a white box. Splash - I'm pretty sure a little above Mars is enough to get the splash. (Note: For the splash, leave at a 90 degrees angle, straight up, and land perfectly flat.)
Read the description. "The Zunder is agile and quick with long range weaponry.
The Fury is slow, but packs more heat with a stronger weapon and high spread."
And for auto-fire question, left click once, and it auto fires.
So, I took that huge red planet circling the solar system. About 10x bigger than the sun. Crashed it into the sun, and the sun stays motionless while the huge red planet explodes. T_T
