This series is so good !~ The game itself is fantastic as always, from comedy relief to puzzle solving to life lessons. Even for an OCD like me, I can look past all the grammatical errors, even if I hate visual novels/games with long dialogue, this really doesn't take long at all. There are barely any wasted lines, it's all world building
Mixed opinions here only because it is a BotD, but just use a walkthrough and it won't take that long. Personally, I was multi-tasking and still only took an hour, without a guide. I find this series to be awesome, even though it does have its typos and grammar errors. It is definitely not for everyone, but if you love puzzles in a detective kind of way and a great story in a game then you'll love these, with fantastic lessons brought forth in unexpected ways
I find bugs that sometimes enemies would just jump platforms, down is understandable. but when it jumps back and up or through walls or otherwise onto pipes where you would get stuck is unfortunate
Gunbot 2 would be cool. Things I'd like see/improved upon: an explanation of skill sometimes would be nice (shotgun, trishot, rebound, laser, Full auto etc). That wall is always confusing and buggy, if my gun is through the wall I can hit things past it (but that's what laser is for right?), sometimes an enemy is right in front me but I can't manage to hit it ... grinding for money to buy all items is always a pain ... after you finish the game, maybe an endless mode or some such. A high score record for fastest completion for each level would be cool too (hopefully no1 hacks 0s for each...)
I gotta say I have never given any game on Kong a 5 yet, even my most favorite series/genres. But I think this one deserves at least a 4.5 avg, even putting aside the Kong celebration/references. This was definitely a great game, and I'll leave the improvements and the rest of that stuff to you. Keep it up!
buggy. logged in today and my base command lost 5 max hp (it was 40 yesterday and 35 today) and lost 500 bank cap (it was 2500 max yesterday and 2000 today)
sometimes old missions can be played. when you're selecting where to launch you will see red, green, and yellow territories. green ones are the ones you completed and no missions are there presently. Red are the unplayed missions. yellow are the replayable ones. If you're stuck, you just need to get more money and buy supply drops in the store. then you can scrap them to upgrade units
I'm fairly sure I've fixed that now! Thanks!
