Fabulous game!
It would be nice if we could set a summoned ally's behaviour - eg, cautious, balanced, aggressive. aggressive might mean 'attack and keep attacking no matter what', while balanced might mean 'attack but withdraw if near death', while cautious might mean 'mind my back while i attack'. or something. just a thought!
have i mentioned it's a fab game?
just in case i didn't... this is a fab game.
thanks
Great game that requires different set-ups for different missions. Fab. Completed all of it, every last bit of it, every single last bit of it, without exception. Except for the speed iv achievement. Ahem. Ah well. Can't be bothered going for that yet again, so am happy with the rest and the badges as 'game done'. Cargo IV can be done with the right set-up (emphasis on maximising power, minimising weight, improving fuel, in that order of priority).
Thanks for the game.
I like this game but would like the option to define the controls (i would like to use cursor keys for movement, rather than the mouse, for example, though others would hate that!). It would also be nice if you could 'customise' player vs cpu battles, just for fun.
Great game. Genuinely hard badge - not sure I have the skill to ever get it! High score to date is only 880 on hard. If ever you make a sequel, I'd like it if you had 'armour' and could 'skid' off the walls a bit (and so lose some armour). The game would be just that little bit more forgiving and, if sparks fly when you do nick your armour, would give that extra sense of a 'close call'. Just a thought. Cheers.
A nice extension to this game (sequel?) could be that you can also see your enemy collecting items as you collect yours - that way you could be trying to react to what they're doing - particularly if there were far more catagories than 4. It would be fun if you could both also 'interact' with each other while collecting, to try and make it harder for your opponent. That way you'd be trying to balance organisation, collection, monitoring of enemy and affecting enemy all at same time. Just my opinion, though - for what it's worth.
I also completed the game (part of its ending says 'and you helped a bit') and received no badges. Sigh. Okay game, though. A bit too easy and repetitive to do again, mind.
on May 12 ashkere says that regen isn't working. for some reason people have rated his post down. I have to say, I've got the same problem - and I've maxed it out and still it doesn't work. it in no way ruins the game, mind, which is absolutely great!
I like to see short and simple games every now and then - an this fits the bill. It is nicely done, so thanks. I o think it is too easy, however, and so I stopped playing after 7/7 correct goes. Is there a way you can include aditional challenges to boost rewards (e.g. add a blur, a shake, a flash, a monkey cartwheeling etc...) Just a thought....
Ran smoothly. Found no bugs - thanks for putting it together.
I will say that your games will look more professional if you proof read them before publishing them! Good spelling (not 'moterway') and the like (e.g., using capitals for proper nouns) require no technical ability or special skills and do not ehance the game - but bad English (or whatever language) can detract from a game - particularly if it is text based.
Anyway, cheers; I hope you keep adding to your technical skills...
in the (extremely) unlikely event that I get a rating at 2.5 or higher, i will make a sequel that is done well. however, I had to make Everything an actor & I cannot be bothered to completely remake the game right now.
Firstly, thanks for putting it together.
As others have said, this is a start. It works, it's smooth, but it needs more to be an engaging game. How about a 'ghost' of your best lap so you've something to race against? You needn't factor in collisions, AI etc for that...
Good idea !! But soon, there'll be real multiplayer with real people ;)
