Interesting game but unfortunately too unbalanced, imo. The Fly and Child were hitting me for 4-6 dmg even though the Fly had 1 HP and the Child 3. The random money steal can hurt if you get it multiple times in a row (by being unlucky) if you factor in you don't get much gold off the enemies, the random damage enemies do, and the choice of items you come across is random (you could come across high ranking items but have no gold or have gold but encounter only low ranking items). A progress bar would be nice and I noticed that you can gain stats (come across some herbs that increased my strength even though I don't know if you can actually view your stats). If more like this are made, I hope for some of the aformentioned improvements to future games; I'd look forward to playing more like this.

5) Maps/Puzzles. I saw the map and it was nice to look at but didn't really serve any purpose for there to be a map button. A mini-map would have sufficed because I couldn't tell where I was other than my general direction I was at; you could hover over area's and it would highlight but that's about it. No zoom or any extra info to help you out and no real landmarks to guide you. Lack of puzzles. If there were any I didn't notice them. Most everything was a kill first, kill second, make sure to grab something off them and ask for your reward later. Variety is the spice of life. Overall, it wasn't too bad but not too great as I mentioned. If some of the aforementioned suggestions are taken into consideration and some things I'm sure I missed/forgot that others mentioned, I would look forward to the sequel. The ending was an interesting twist and would like to see how that all plays out!

4) Bosses. Someone mentioned it but bosses could have held the keys or something to make it feel more like a Zelda or any other old-school RPG. In that aspect, you could say that the quest-givers had the key instead does make an interesting change but there should at least be a few zone bosses at least considering that monsters were randomly summoned. Even if they don't hold a key they can be placed to block passage to the next village or other important area.

3) NPC's/Enemies. Vendors is the only thing I can think of. The starting area you first arrive has the best weapons I believe and the further you travel the weapons became less useful other than the poison potions for just in case. Shield was useless (VIT stat, too; only had 10 points into it and 5 into Nat Arm). I saw someone mention about Archers and the hassle of having to use a slot for arrows and there's a ring for Bow skills or something? Enemy placement in certain areas. Luckily it wasn't bad but can become annoying, especially at the end when you get teleported and swarmed by 5 zombies. I know that some enemies will swarm you as soon as you come on screen while others will leave you alone unless provoked. I liked that difference but there should be a limit radius to that; i.g., coming onto screen and the enemy from the other side shouldn't feel the need to come to you. I shouldn't hear, "Exterminate, exterminate!" from across the zone while they come charging.

2) Quests. It was mentioned, but it would be nice if there were markers on the map to remind you where your quest-givers are when you complete one. Also, quest rewards should be level/area appropriate in my opinion. Great example, the Cemetery "Breaking the curse" has you kill enemies in the labyrinth (difficult enemies) and your reward when finished is a inferior weapon only good for the enemies you were able to kill in the cemetery but not the labyrinth. Most of my quest rewards aside from the first sword you get (unless you were eager and bought one getting into town) and potions I sold all to the vendor because about 50% through the game I had accumulated enough gold to buy me the Golden Flame (about 45K).

Finished the game and as suggested already, needs some balancing. I will say that it was okay for a first game; not great but not horrible either. Suggestions: 1 Balancing. Enemy and character development both need it so that you can actually build a character towards your play style (saw there's Sword, Axe, Dagger/Katar, and Bows); I think the best weapon in the game was a sword and should have at least one for the other specs to make it nice to level those skills, too. Enemies needed some sort of balancing. I had the best weapon in the game (to my knowledge or according to the weapon description - Golden Flame) and things still took around 10+ hits each at lvl 70 with 45 STR and max Sword spec; damage range is 430-530. For skill points, it would have been nice to know how much more you're getting for the xp, gold, and crit. Sword Mastery, changed as it was selected but everything else was just putting points in and hoping.

Its the later enemies that can poison, but thinking about it after posting my comment, there's not many enemies that can poison in the first place so my initial post is moot (kinda). But more of an, "There should be a limit" regarding status effects; I died testing it out to see if poison would drop off before I died (saved before testing of course). I still died. u__u And this was from full health of 1K hp.

Why can poison drop off the enemies but perma on you unless you pot up? Should be a limit I'd say considering how long it takes to kill some enemies; granted its not hard to kill them, just lengthy.

Despite only jumping, this games very addicting. I almost feel like a lemming!
