started off well. was boring by the third screen. also, why mario? Perhaps this game somehow appeals to players of plumber based platfroming... I doubt it though.
its quite hard to find fault with this. I like the little splatty noises for some reason. The music could concievably become irritating after a long play. the graphics are nice, some sort of storyline system wouldnt go amiss, just to keep people playing.
unforunately, ive seen so many identical clones of this. It really no longer has the impact or adictiveness it once did. perhaps a new element, like...uh... a rotating play field perhaps? or some kind of mosnter at the top of the screen battling another monster, and every time you dissapear a line, the monster makes a move... something like that.
on the whole, I'm not sure the concept needed reinventing, the corner score tweaks really dont add anything, and as nicely decorated as this version is, theres a version built into windows thats just as much fun, and can be played against real people. sometimes simplicty will win over filigree.
you need to find a way to disable the click, or ste it so if someone holds the mouse button down, the movement pauses. That will solve the click problem and give a player a breather.
