Final Lair was not nearly as difficult as other comments made it seem. Beat is in less than 10 attempts. It was Super Villains that killed me, and still haven't beaten the Daft Lorna level.
Love this game, as with the first. With two exceptions 1: Getting level 11 boost with Lorna, her bike barely spins so you're lucky to get two full spins coming down a hill, and the climb is so high that you tend to lose the boost that you have built up before reaching the top. and 2: The Jennifer stages. Her bike is terrible, and on that terrain? the worst part is that the opponents speed up when the player is ahead, or slow down when the player is behind. I usually finish the Villains level in 1:17-1:20 with the other two riders just ahead of me. Recently I had a great run and finished at 1:11. both of the opponents passed me just before crossing the finish line when I should have beat them easily. Yes you want to make games with increasing difficulty, and keep even the most hardcore gamers involved and interested to the end, but those are the small percentage of players. Most casual gamers are never going to finish this game because it goes from very fun to complete frustration.
original concept and I like the levels, but the bike goes over too easily. Often it seems that the control is stuck and your bike just goes into a backflip even if you aren't pressing any buttons
I love this genre. Some people say there are too many bike games, I think there are too many shoot 'em up zombie games. This is possibly the best bike game yet, kept me busy for 5 days, plenty of challenge and variety. The bike rides magnificently, and the interactive terrain is unique. Hopefully MTF3 is on the way!
at first it was boring with no point. then it got really good! Prices are too high to start out, bring them down a little bit and this game would be a candidate for badges.
story mode would be good. You go out and have like 5 chances to take photos during a storm, then you sell the photos to news/magazine/website. You could purchase upgrades for your camera and sensors to help gauge when the lightning will strike. Something like that.
actually controls pretty good, it's smooth and the car responds well. BTW I did beat it with 9.13 and 1:41 :) keep it up and I can't wait to see/play the final product!
not terrible, but not among the top games of the genre. but I was doing very well and staying well ahead of the tornado until a certain point it just came up faster than the bike can go. tweak this one a little more and it can be a lot better.
gold on all tracks and all achievements earned. Pretty good game despite what so many here are saying, could be improved in the next version. Upgrades were basically pointless since they didn't provide a noticeable improvement to vehicle performance, also I had gold on all levels well before upgrading completely (had only 5 upgrades of each item upon completing the game), so I ended up replaying the final level all day just to earn money for upgrades. In future versions you should make it so that your car is fully upgraded at roughly the same time that you complete every level. The car handles a little weird, a lot of my strategy was actually tumbling the vehicle through difficult sections, and doing wheelies to pick up speed on straight sections.
now i can reply :D!
