This game is nearly perfect, but there's one flaw that kills the lategame for me. That is the enemy missile explosions. The explosion is bigger and more long-lasting than the chain hitbox, so that means that half the time, a missile is going to be obscured by another's explosion instead of destroyed by it. Once you're already in the 2500+ missile range, they are so frequent that once a big chain reaction happens you might lose sight of several missiles and then you might not remember how many are there, what types they are, and their current direction(specially if it's a flashing red light missile). And if it's too close, some might impact your base, killing you. But i still don't hate the game, everything else is awesome. 4/5
I wonder how the conversations in the Naval HQ went when they ordered a ship with near to no power and 40 health to go and attack a massive pirate ship with 400 million health - just for our ship to win in the end with 10 health.
This game has a VERY steep learning curve in Lun- I mean Celestial mode. The game goes from hard but barely manageable to HOLY **** in a matter of comparing 1-1 to 1-4/1-5.
This game was absolutely effing amazing. i can't even comprehend how you managed to do this pretty much on your own, Argl. But, as someone who 100%ed Rogue Soul 2, i just have one wish. Make an 100% completion endscreen like in the other game, maybe even with credits if necessary. It would make this already near-perfect game even better.
This game has the worst difficulty curve ever in it's enemies. You can't tell me that most of your deaths in lategame are because of enemies hitting you in the earlygame giving you only 2 hits remaining once you get to 750m. There should be LESS enemies in the beginning, not the same amount of enemies but with less health. Or that or HEALTH REGEN. Thankfully i got the hard badge, but it got really tiring fast. 4/5 because the game is awesome before getting too competitive.
This is one of those games that invented the Auto-Save. I just love this game. Got the first badges two days after release, got the hard a couple of months back, and i STILL haven't grown tired of this masterpiece since '09! The air control is extremely tight and the way the game goes extremely smoothly throughout just makes me very happy. Felt just a little bit on the slow side though.
Wow, actually beating endurance mode must take forever and a half. I hate skill-based marathons... If you put about 100 tries into this game you already lost like 10 hours of your time.
:D
