It's just stupid how high the score requirements are and the monster HP on level 9 and such. I hate feeling like if I played the game a day earlier I would have gotten badges that I can't get now because the game changed.

Suggestions to Devs: make recon have a mission timer like attacking does. Make adventurer sites spawn random raiders that attack the nearer castle so occupying them (pacifying them) does something extra. Make a "next turn" on the battles rather than a cooldown timer. This allows more time to strategize but the battles will be faster. Upgrading market doesn't do anything? Include a slight market delay for transactions like with attacks. Include option to implant a spy in the enemy fort so you have constant recons and you are alerted when they send an attack - but the spy is occasionally found and planting a spy is very costly.

Too hard unless you use bugs. Bug: you can set any number of percentage to production, so you don't need to upgrade or build more than one other than for prerequisites. Archers rule. Conquering sites is pointless except for diamonds. You don't need to use units other than footmen and archers, so don't bother stockpiling diamonds. Warehouses are better than civilian houses. The enemy has a constant "recon" active and sends troops instantly if you send out enough troops to lower your threat to where they want to attack.

You moron lemmings. The physics are not "wrong" they're just different. Imagine building a real skyscraper out of pieces that don't lock together. Sure it would fall right down. To get hard badge, build your tower with a wide base and narrowing up to about 200 height. Skip blocks if they don't fit. Then drop a single stack of purple 4x1 blocks as fast as you can because the longer it stays tall the wobblier it gets. It may take a few tries. Get used to the rhythm of deleting blocks quickly until you get to a purple. They often come in pairs. It's OK if it topples, you just need it to reach 600 for a moment. Also remember this is less like Tetris and more like stacking Jenga pieces. It's perfectly fine to stick out the sides and to leave gaps.

Nobody cares about your strategy for winning unless it's the Normal Campaign. The other modes are stupid-easy and you are not smart or cool for having come up with a strategy. ___________________________________________ that said, I've tried buying only gunmen, I've tried upgrading pistol them buying only gunmen, and I tried buying the fan or the quakebox ASAP and none of those strategies worked.

Hard badge is not possible. Try sandbox normal, 3 lasers, 3 missiles, shield, max wall, 300 repair and 300 gunmen. You still lose. Game is broken.

TL;DR: Game balance fail. Hard badge cannot be won without cheat. Campaign on Normal is ~literally~ impossible without cheating. I don't mean it's an impossible badge worth 60 points and you can beat it if you're really good. Try Normal Sandbox, level 40, infinite money, buy and use whatever you want. You will lose. I tried it with 900 gunmen and 900 repair (which is 10x what you'd have at level 40 in the campaign).

I can't beat that stupid clown as Juggernaut. All his attacks are too fast to use reflection on (they're all just about 1 second cast time and so is reflection). Do I just have to sit here and learn his complete pattern?

Okay WTF, I just read a walkthrough after finishing the game with 85% soul, and I find out you're supposed to run around looking for a glowy symbol to bring back to her before the time runs out? There was ABSOLUTELY NO WAY TO TELL THIS. That part was poor game design, the rest of it works well and has a weird surreal quality that's pretty cool. But if you added even a note like "hm, maybe I should take a look around while she's learning" then I'd have no reason to complain.

Minuses: Needs save function, combat needs improvement, movement is laggy and weird sometimes. Plusses: Great setting and story, great art, high quality gameplay. I suggest making the character face the mouse cursor at all times and attack the cursor when you click.

I liked it, but I felt that it needed more particles. Also the site that it directs you to has a broken version where the menus are offset and you can't use them or buy the leftmost four upgrades. Which kind of makes the game unplayable there. But as always it's good on Kong.
