seriously, if you looked at bottom at menu: "if you experience lag right click on setttings and set local storage to unlimited!" am I really the only one it worked for?
part 3 medium botd Try earning some of the medals. Good practice but most of all they give great bonuses. Be aware of how long reloading is. If you spend too much time you will be killed. Learn to time your reloads and upgrade the reloading skill available for all classes. Ohterwise you want the accuracy skill. (the crosshair mod disables badges). If you can't earn the badge with mods disabled enable mods and get some medals for bonuses. That should help. Don't forget to install weapon mods in your guns for for more damage, better firerate, accuracy or whatever the mod is, but be aware of limited mod slots.
part 2 botd medium badge. if you have trouble with aiming use hunter. crossbow arrows will go straightforward to the enemies and do a lot of damage. With all other guns the projectile or bullet will directly where you aim(if you hit the body) so beginners can experience a lot of misses. Enemies have weak points which is often the head(not to be confused with critical hits which seems to only be shown at kills), so try looking at your damage output. The game will not tell when you miss so if you see no damage output, practice more. This is why rouge and hunters are good beginners classes; with a bad shot the sheriff and militia has no backup until they get a hireling. And to get more than 2 people you need a house which can be expensive for beginners.
