Some issues: Blue souls that would turn into burning souls and are outside the play area will not change or attack player. A single mob will occasionally turn invincible (seems to loss hit box). The first bug is annoying, the second one causes a mission to autofail.
Level 14 is about distraction and mobility. They cant move very fast with their cannons so have a squad of heavy armor attack one of their cells to distract the main force and send a large group of fliers to pick off the cannons on the edges / snatch cells. Your fliers will get targeted. Move them before they get hit :P
Max level is 100. Exp goes into x/undefined. You can, however, keep raising enemy level. I took down a 110, but it really stops being playable post-100.
Upgrading your characters is simply a matter of finding a wearable piece of gear with a skill on it. When highlighting gear you can tab left/right with the arrow keys. The middle tab shows what skills the gear has. Equip the piece, and then go to the skill menu. Tab through the skill types till you find your new skill and equip it with the x button. You can use these equipped skills as long as you have the associated piece of gear. However, by mastering the skill you get to keep it for good. You train the skills by either using them (spell types) or successfully fulfilling s certain react condition. For attack skills you need to get a successful react with a normal attack, defense react while getting hit, magic defense react while getting hit with magic etc... Hope that helps.
Impressed. 4 "class" paths: Str, Sta, Agi, Int. Each with their own gear and skills, but everything is open to all characters. Fun little grind game. It definitely has me hooked.
I had serious trouble until I noticed that the shop list had arrows. Very good game with a solitaire feel to it (you might lose and you know that going into it.)
