That is kinda weird, nobody else posted something like that. There were cases where the data was lost but it is not erased from the game itself. Only something on the player-pc might delete the save. Do you have some auto-cleaning tool which might delete the save? Bluescreen, forced shut down, blackout or other cases like this might also delete the save.
The save is locatet at: %appdata% -> \Unity\WebPlayerPrefs\chat_2ekongregate_2ecom\prefgamez-0021-8178-live-build_2eunity3d.upp As long as this file doesn't get deleted, you will keep the progress. Other than that you can also manually export and import a game save.
