About the range issue (range doesn’t increase even after buying the necessary technology)

Play > Random Sector > Galactic Zoo (Medium)

I play normally, scout the planets, seed a few, open tech window and upgrade the appropriate tech, and it does nothing. All Random sectors seem to have this issue. Running on Firefox 35.0.1, Shockwave flash 16.0.0.35

I sincerely doubt my idiocy is at fault here. I did finish the game some time ago and played a few random sectors (quit when some turned impossible because planets kept blowing up). I even turtled for some time with my minimal range, techning up so I could buy at least a bit from every tech tree to see if that would work (it didn’t).

I was playing the zoo scenario on Galaxy Harvest; I pulled up the Planet menu and zoomed in on the planet with the top tech level (7.4, if I remember correctly) so I could cull it. The map centers on the planet in question, but I lose all ability to influence the game at that point; the controls just stop working. Also, even though I typically play at half-speed, the notifications start popping up like I’m at 8x speed. Not much more I can tell you, but I hope this helps you isolate the glitch.

that is one epic game you made, amazing concept, and great mechanics, while always interesting and entretaining. the broadcast is very good too. i also like how if you overanalize, i am both the hero(for the empire) and the villa(for everyone else) and, pretty much a reaper no? even tho black holes do the opposite of what they do in the game, it’s really good, it’s rare to find such good games in this web site, hope you make many more games!
