Race: Orionis Eridania

What IS an Orionis Eridanian?
Orionis Eridania is a race with a figure similar to humans. However, unlike humans, they have the ability to breath just about any kind of gas. For example, whereas methane could easily kill a human, a breath of methane for an Eridanian is like breathing in the purest oxygen in existence. The reason behind this is the planet’s climate; the air on their planet is composed of every single element in the world, which means that the air is composed of an infinite amount of compounds. As a result, the species on the planet were able to evolve over time to be able to inhale any gas in existence. With their ability to breath in toxic chemicals, this race also has the ability to create a poisonous gas upon exhaling. This gas is so powerful, a single sigh would have enough chemicals to keep a dozen people just barely able to breath if the chemicals were evenly distributed. Unfortunately, the Eridanian is not known for its ability to go without breathing; while it would take a few minutes to choke a human, if one were to choke an Eridanian, then they would be dead within thirty seconds.

While their appearance is like a human’s appearance, there are still a few differences. Their skin usually has a bluish tint to it, but it turns into more of a purple shade if they’ve been breathing non-toxic air for a long enough period of time. They can also have somewhat unusual eye colors, such as snow white or rosy pink. For an unknown reason, it’s also rare for them to have pupils. Their hair doesn’t have such a large range of colors, but it’s still usually at least one color of the rainbow. Occasionally, they may also have a second color that creates a unique pattern. Such reports are not frequent, but they’re not rare, either.

Appearance: Like most of her race, Chaui has the form of an average female adult; she’s about 5’7, she weighs about 126 pounds, and although she doesn’t have the body of a supermodel, she isn’t exactly the girl you see at school with a flat chest and unattractive behind, to say the least.

Like most of her race, her skin has a bluish tint to it, and her eyes happen to be golden yellow. She was born with a mix of yellow and orange hair, and the pattern can be compared to that of the pattern on the link below. She prefers to keep her hair about two inches shorter than shoulder-length hair, and she’s constantly making sure it’s as smooth as silk.

As for clothing, most of the time, Chaui can be seen wearing a pure black robe. To prevent herself from being suffocated by somebody else, she also keeps a certain accessory around her neck. It’s actually much like the spiked gauntlet found in heavy metal fashion, but it’s much shorter, so one could also say it’s like the kind of collar you’d find on a fierce breed of dog, like a pitbull. She makes sure the spikes are constantly sharpened and coated in powerful toxins.

Personality: It’s kind of sad to say that Chaui is pretty much a bitch. She sees herself as the most important being in the world, and believes that everyone else only exists to serve her, entertain her, or just die at her hands. Although she’s usually in a good mood, which can be good news or bad news, depending on how much distance there is between you and her, her mood practically changes faster than a person with bipolar disorder, and if this happens, then watch out. She’s guaranteed to throw everything she has at you. Even if it isn’t enough, she won’t stop until the offender perishes, makes it up to her, or kills her. In a nutshell, she’s pretty much evil.

Equipment: Aside from her breath and her ‘collar’, Chaui is unarmed.

Biography: To be honest, you won’t be surprised about why Chaui is such a spoiled brat after reading this profile. After all, I’d say that being a princess that always got what she wanted is a good reason to turn out so spoiled, wouldn’t you? Chaui was actually the princess of her race for sixteen years. Obviously, she was treated as royalty for her entire life since… Well, she WAS royalty. If somebody didn’t do what she wanted, then her father had them executed within ten seconds. She was pretty much living the life anybody on her planet would want to live…

Until, that is, they were invaded by a race that was able to create small vacuums. I’m not talking about the machine, obviously. I’m talking about the vacuums you find in SPACE. Now, as mentioned before, an Eridanian can only go for thirty seconds without breathing, so of course most of the race was killed. For some reason, however, the invaders spared Chaui, deciding to drop her off on Earth instead of killing her. She STILL doesn’t know why.

When Chaui ventured into the city, she happened to walk into a bar. Now, she had been breathing pure oxygen for a while now, so she’d have purple skin at this point. This caused everyone in the bar to attack her… Which was a waste of time, considering she could breath toxic air. Only a few people were alive after a single breath, and those people quickly gave up. She decided to make them her servants, to which they gladly agreed. After all, just about anything was better than dying, in their opinions.

As of this day, only one of the four survivors is still alive, and he is sure to obey each and every order he’s given. While the other three were still alive, however, they built her a castle, which she still resides in today. They stole from the city constantly in order to make the castle as luxurious as possible for her, and to be honest, they did a pretty good job.
