I'm just going to say I found I glitch.
I had a glitch where my jump got delayed, then at the part with the minion and the chef were, it activated and jumped me up. It went all laggy and the enemies tried to chase the cat on the upper level that jumped through instead of fighting, this allowed my ranged cat to just shoot them while they lagged out trying to chase the guy on the upper level while on the below level.
