i tested this and regular armor is better

i have a question: if i have armor that has a defence of 11.7, but a vulnerability of 19.6, is it better then regular armor with an armor vlue of 7.96?

the best class to play as is definitely not the rouge, it says medium dmg medium armor, but the roge dies quickly, and has low dmg. So pick warrior or mage to start, i just stick with the warrior.
