For what it's worth, I don't feel this game should of been in this contest. I played through it and beat it, though it wasn't par to the other evo games. Just a thought,though.
My only problem is that there's too much clutter on the screen. I'm playing with an 18.5 inch monitor, and it's still very mashed up. Other than that, 5/5.
Game has gone to absolute shit. The updates to leveling is completely bogus. Before it was a nice and easy game to play,level up and have fun but now it's actually a shit stormof grinding. Energy doesn't restore quick enough, exp isn't great enough, exp from levels doesn't carry over,not that it did before, but now more than ever it's needed. Went from a fun game to a shitty grindcore.
I wholeheartedly agree with Lichice's comment. Destiny Levels are the absolute worst thing in this game, and it's getting a 4/5 for that. It's such a difficulty curve within the game,it kills what little fun you can have on a sidescroller.
Loved the added unlocks at the end,when you unlock commons-rare. The calendar and the slot machine were great, the calendar more so ;] but the slots, I got all coins and won 150k on max bet. ^^
Way to slow,which leads it to be boring. There's no auto send,like many have pointed out and 2x speed isn't cutting it. 30 waves of creepers, and if you so happen to lose, that's a good 15 minutes at least you just lost and you get nothing to show for it.
Slow, boring and easily beaten. Also, rather annoying. Too much healing, random luck upon drawing cards; throughout the whole game I didn't draw a single Dispell card.
I've been following the Epic War games since the first, and I've played them all very extensively. I think that it could of been a little better as it was a far cry from the first, but I enjoyed it very much. Keep up the good work Rudy, these games have come a long way.
Could of been executed a little better. The game play with fine, the art and music is nice and simple but the the auto running is a little uncalled for. A good weapon to invest in is the shield, though, as it's attack is a charging motion. Gets you through enemies with ease. :D
